Summary - Bartender seemed bothered we came in. Multiple Guinness signs around bar (including a lit, rotating one) but it's not available.Details - We stopped in around 9PM on Sunday. The outside bar was very busy so we went to the interior bar. Another couple was at one end of the bar. I asked the bartender if she drank gin and her response was dismissive. So I ordered a Guinness and gestured at the sign, but she said they didn't have it. I settled on a cider since I could see the tap.Multiple signs stated that the kitchen was closed. The bar area was dusty and looked like it wasn't truly cared about. I would advise looking for drinks elsewhere.

Wow, what a cool place! Open late with a lot of different types of drinks. I love the dark wood and rustic vibe. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. We had the bbq pulled pork sliders and the chicken nachos, both were great. They have a bunch of different sitting areas and a few different bars. Highly recommend!

Scarlett O'Hara's and our experience. We were visiting St. Augustine for my wife's birthday. We first had to find parking. Lame. Next, we went on a Ghost Tour, unseasonably warm, a walking tour, and kinda lame. Then, we walked around St. Augustine, ridiculous. St. Patrick's Day weekend and a bunch of rude people. Either bumping into people in our party of 6 or just walking in between us. The other problem is that the restaurants were closing early or weren't very accommodating. That's a piss-poor way to run a business in a tourist town. We stopped in at the Scarlett O'Hara. We sat down. There were 3 bartenders in the main house. None of those 3 came to greet us or acknowledge us. Everyone at our party was trying to figure out what was going on? I had enough. I got up and went to the bar. I asked if the kitchen was open? The female bartender said yes. She gave me this limited menu. No ribs. No BBQ. No Mahi sandwich. No Scarlett's famous crispy wings. No Rhett's Burger. The limited menu consisted of the following: chips and salsa. Nachos steak or chicken, overcooked and very plain. Cuban sandwich, which looked awful. Philly sandwich steak or chicken, I'm sure, was even worse. There were 3 bartenders or 3 people behind the bar, not one who brought out the first or second round of drinks. We had to get the drinks. The bartender did bring out the food, surprisingly, and a couple of drinks before we left. However, before we left, they screwed up a Black Russian. I ordered Stella's, and the first few glasses were in plastic glasses!! The last glass was a pint glass, still not a Stella Artois glass!! The place was very busy. It was St. Patrick's Day weekend, eve to be succinct. This service wasn't acceptable at any rate. The live music was good, a little too loud for the distortion. Scarlett O'Hara's shut down in 2022. That was supposedly because of the "scamdemic." However, if Scarlett O'Hara continues to provide poor service, it will get shut down again.Parking: Park and walk .

Rude staff. Food sucks. Staff sucks. Live music too loud. If zero stars were an option, differently 0 starts. Avoid until new bar staff is hired. You have to stand at the bar and wait and hope someone will acknowledge you standing right in front I'll wait til staff drinks there over pour so I have less and u get drunk off my money or your bosses money what ever your case is. Good luck!

I haven't been to this establishment in many years. Back when I was introduced to it, it was a premier St. Augustine destination. I have a trip scheduled in a few months with a high school friend staying on Anastasia Island for several days and wanted to bring her to my once beloved eating establishment. Then I read the current reviews. It breaks my heart to hear in review after review how poor the food and service have become. My sister-in-law, who grew up locally, introduced my husband (her brother) and I to this once wonderful locale around 1982 and it was an amazing experience at that time. After my husband passed, I had not returned to this restaurant and until this upcoming trip was planned, hadn't thought about the place. When thinking of taking my friend to the wonderful places I knew from the past, Scarlet's was high on the list....till I read the reviews. It seems you really can't go back. This restaurant has apparently fallen victim to the motto on the sign, and they really don't give a damn. I also found it interesting that only the good reviews got a comment from management. The few negative reviews that received a comment were obviously a standard response as they were all the same. There was nothing personal and only three negative reviews even received any recognition. Perhaps that says more about why the multitude of problems exist today than anything else. This once amazing dining experience is now a complete disappointment and off my list of places to re-visit! So sad and disappointing.

I made the mistake of coming here based on the recommendation of a friend who thought that this was still Scarlett O'Hara's, and not Scarlett Rogue as it is called now. I was met with chilly and impersonal service in a bar with 7 customers. It had been closed for a number of months and is now a different business. The food and drink menu is completely different from all the photos you see here, and no doubt the old reviews are invalid as well. I wished I had stayed at the Columbia a few doors down the street, a place I'd recommend.

We went there last night the drinks were good but the food wasn’t. The hotdog looked like it was microwaved. The caprese sandwich was mostly lettuce. The $6 chips and salsa was a tiny cup of salsa and two handfuls of chips.

Had the blackened whitefish sub. Wasn't what I expected. Kinda soggy and didn't seem thoroughly cooked. The beer was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Sitting here now. About to leave. The bartender had zero customer service skills. Never once talked to us, except to take our drink order. Spent the entire time on his phone. We had to walk down to where he was on his phone to ask for our check. We were the only ones in the place. Inexcusable. May have had more than one had he talked to us. I guess his phone was more important. I guess he doesn’t like customers.Sorry to inconvenience him. I doubt we will be back, but if we do, if I see his face, we will go elsewhere. We were there on Friday, Jan 12, 2024. Around 3 pm or so. Had one drink.

I didn’t order food. I sat at the outside bar. The bartenders were awesome.
