The service was good but the food was not very good. The sandwich had less meat and more bread. The coleslaw was gross and they do not have the best barbecue sauce the meat. The smokiness was good but they give you a sandwich with the meat in the middle and all bread around it. Most barbecue places load your bread up where you have meat with every bite and they need to think about shredding their meat instead of chunks because it falls out of your sandwich and it was not worth $10 for a sandwich and coleslaw I will not be going back

On the corner of US1 and 206, just south of St. Augustine, is drop-off-the-bone pork ribs, turkey, beef take-out and other excellent BBQ delights.
Outside dining is available amongst displays and signage.

No indoor dining. This is pick up and to the beach or elsewhere to eat. They do have seating outside. It is old logs for tables and chairs. That being said the beach buckets are my favorite. Always quick and tasty.

Did not know what to expect from this place, but I believe it is a good restaurant, but the way the flavor was to me was not the way I wanted it. I got the pulled pork sandwich, which was good.They seemed to smoke this place up in flavor to where it was too much to me. And also, the beans were really good, but as a side to go with, it was pretty small. Like the size of a big Togo cup of sauce if that makes sense. Give it a try if you want to try something new and see what you think.

Perfect location for this bbq take out gem. I was heading home from measuring a job up in St Augustine and discovered Smokin D’s. I was stuffed after eating their Beach Bucket with smoked turkey. See photos. Yellow rice on the bottom, bbq cowboy beans in the middle, a generous helping of chopped, smoked turkey on top with a piece of Texas toast on the side.

We’ve passed by this place and always wanted to try it. I wish we wouldn’t have. We’ve had bbq from all over. This wasn’t “bbq”. Too fatty and no flavor. Tea wasn’t even good. The Beans was more like chili. Coleslaw was soggy. 90% went to the trash! Very disappointed

This is a true 'middle of nowhere' gem! It’s an eye-catching establishment that feels like a step back in time, filled with the sweet smell of Southern BBQ. While we were short on time and couldn't stay to eat, the prices looked great and parking was a breeze. The highlight was the old truck on-site. It reminded me of the one from the Jeepers Creepers movie (which was filmed in Florida!). Definitely a cool spot to stretch your legs and take photos. I’ll be back to actually try the food next time!...as long as it is not during the Creeper's hunting cycle. Every 23rd spring. But you know what? If the food tastes as good as it smelled it would be worth it. 😋

Saw a sign off 95S and was hungry so I stopped in. Maybe they had a bad day but the food was average. No need to stop again for me but give it a try everyone else seems to like it.
