Every tie we come to this location they mess the order up and unfortunately we are over an hour away. First time they forgot a pound of turkey in the bag. This time we ordered $80 worth of BBQ and not one container of sauce. Mind you we ordered about 8 sauces and not one in the bag. They need to pay attention to details.

Excellent BBQ all the way around! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s a walk-up and order spot with outdoor tables, but don’t let that fool you — you will not be disappointed. Definitely worth stopping by!

No inside dining and outside dining table is rustic. Food is fantastic for take home.

Greeted friendly upon entry!! It is a take out and catering only with a few picnic tables outside. But the food was very delicious!! Meat didn’t even truly need sauce! Ribs were great, pork sandwiches were great, potato salad, beans, and rice are yummy!

I visited Smokey D’s BBQ and was very disappointed with the service. The employee who checked me out appeared to be intoxicated—he was slurring his words, rude, and gave me a hard time just for asking about sweet sauce. He also refused to give me my receipt, saying he had to keep it “to make sure he got everything right.” That kind of behavior is completely unprofessional. If someone is that impaired, they shouldn’t be working. I hope management addresses this, because the food and reputation of Smokey D’s deserve better.

Extremely cordial and helpful customer service. My wife loved the Yard Bird dish; whole chicken with two sides.

I've eaten BBQ from all over the US and the ribs here are top two I've eaten. The beans and potato salad are very good as well. The ribs need no sauce, but if sauce is your thing, the mustard sauce or the spicy sauce were both great. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely nice. Don't miss out on some top notch BBQ.

Updated my 5 stars down to 3. Customer service is great. Ordered a brisket and more than half was fat.

By far the best barbecue in the state of Florida. Definitely try the Alabama chicken. I can never drive by without stopping

Great beef, ribs and chicken, sat outside at a table, no inside seating, and temp near water was not bad. Staff were friendly.

Just picked up their rib special and they are the worst ribs we have ever eaten. The flavor was fine, but it seems like they got the bottom of the barrel choice for ribs. We either couldn't get the meat off the bone, or it was too full of fat, bone and gristle to even try. Lot of waste. We had better ribs the day before in a seafood place down by the beach. D's were supposed to be the best, so we double down. Big mistake. It might be good for St. Augustine, but they wouldn't last in any other place like KC, Memphis, Texas or even St. Louis serving ribs like those.

Maybe their other smoked meats are really good but stay away from the ribs.
