I've eaten BBQ from all over the US and the ribs here are top two I've eaten. The beans and potato salad are very good as well. The ribs need no sauce, but if sauce is your thing, the mustard sauce or the spicy sauce were both great. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely nice. Don't miss out on some top notch BBQ.

By far the best barbecue in the state of Florida. Definitely try the Alabama chicken. I can never drive by without stopping

Great beef, ribs and chicken, sat outside at a table, no inside seating, and temp near water was not bad. Staff were friendly.

Just picked up their rib special and they are the worst ribs we have ever eaten. The flavor was fine, but it seems like they got the bottom of the barrel choice for ribs. We either couldn't get the meat off the bone, or it was too full of fat, bone and gristle to even try. Lot of waste. We had better ribs the day before in a seafood place down by the beach. D's were supposed to be the best, so we double down. Big mistake. It might be good for St. Augustine, but they wouldn't last in any other place like KC, Memphis, Texas or even St. Louis serving ribs like those.

Maybe their other smoked meats are really good but stay away from the ribs.

Just finished having a picnic for 2 from Smokin D’s BBQ!!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dynamite bbq place to eat. Well worth the trip. Best BBQ I have had in a long time. Never had smoked turkey before but they recommend it and I will most definitely have more and the ribs OMG fall off the bone meat. The beans yes more please. Next trip to St. Augustine we will definitely be eating here again.

I recently placed a catering order to take to our fire department here in St. Augustine to thank them for the wonderful job that they do in keeping our community safe each and every day. Smokin’ D’s did a wonderful job guiding me through the ordering process, making suggestions on not only what to order but how much to provide as well. If this BBQ was rated best in St Augustine I would hate to see the worst! It's a tie between Smokin Joe's and Mojos downtown for the WORST BBQ in St Johns County!
I ordered the Alabama chicken, and as soon as I saw it, i knew that I had made a mistake! The chicken was not even grilled, and the skin soggy! The Alabama white sauce is what truly made the meal a TOTAL BUST! DO NOT EAT HERE!! #straight SWILL!💯

Just finished lunch. I went with the 2-meat platter: ribs and pork with potato salad and coleslaw on the side. Both meats were moist and the ribs were especially good. The only downside was the pork portion had quite a bit of fat. Overall, pretty solid BBQ! I'd recommend it.

I got the pork sandwich and my partner got the ribs! We both loved it! Fast service, great prices, and even better food!
