I don't understand how people are giving this food anything above 1 star? The ribs had no meat and chicken was so dry. Probably the worst BBQ out there. I'm guessing the people that gave it a higher star have never had real BBQ before.

Me and my special needs friend just dined here tonight and let me tell you, Becka J was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She was so nice. She made my special friend laugh many times and her service was impeccable. I live in Orlando, but anytime I go to Jacksonville on the way back I will be coming to see becka.

This may well be our last visit to Sonny's. They have been a BBQ staple forever. But now, they are just pricing themselves right out of business. It is no longer fun when two people can go there, have a basic meal, and end up with nearly a $40 total bill. And the real kicker - this store did not offer Baked Potatoes. Sweet potatoes were the only option.
