St. Augustine Fish Camp

Didn't work out today. Unusual for us. Want to like the place, but too many mistakes. Busy so they are doing something right. First . Parking is impossible, so plan extra time. Ordered. Drinks were good. App was okay. Waited and waited for the main course... They lost it. But then it was another 15 minutes before it arrived. Should have been good, right? When vegetables were cold. Lost our appetite by this point. Manager made some adjustments to the bill which helped a little. Wait staff did what they could.

Parking: Very small parking lot. Street parking in narrow residential streets nearby.

This is a really cool place. The food is top-notch and the service is excellent, but make sure you get a reservation otherwise you may have to sit at the bar or wait a while. It's definitely worth the effort, though!

Recommended dishes: Broiled Seafood Platter, Whole Fried Market Fish, Fries, Shrimp and Grits

Shrimp and grits. Get the shrimp and grits, trust me. Wife's cosmo was standard with Titos and my Old Fashioned was standard with Buffalo Trace. Good pours and well balanced.

The waterside deck offered nice views and overall the place lovely!

Very seldom do I leave a review but definitely needed to do this one! We don't venture down to the tourist hornet's nest too often as we live in crescent Beach and it's just too much now with the traffic but it was a beautiful day and we were looking for a waterfront view with good seafood. In the very competitive world of restaurants in the St Augustine area I can't begin to tell you how impressed we were with the food and the presentation as well as the service! Not the name of the restaurants in the area but lately we have always left thinking wow 150 bucks for that? We could have done much better at home, just that feeling like why are we wasting this much money on crap! From appetizers to entrees they are priced competitively and it was just an overall good experience from the cost to the view. We did have to wait a considerable amount of time because the restaurant was short-staffed but we all get that these days, enjoy a nice meal at this restaurant!

Don’t bother. The food is good, but there are 100 places with good food within a mile. We had a reservation and watched several groups without reservations seated ahead of us. When we asked why we were still waiting, the host was a dick. We have lived here for 15 years and won’t go back here. There are so many restaurants with good food that we don’t have to go to a place that the staff is disrespectful. Pass this place up.

Always a great meal. Reservations fill up fast every early on a Fri afternoon. We often sit at the bar.

This place is absolutely amazing! Food was fire and amazing but the real show stoppers are Randy, Paige, and Caitlin! Literally the absolute best most amazing service of my life! One of the best dinner experiences of my life highly recommended!!

incredible service and staff! we were lucky enough to have caitlin as our server, as well as randy and paige— all such sweet people! so funny and cared for us all night! food was incredible and randy even brought us extra sauces to try our food with. drinks were great and everything was fairly priced. hope to come back next time i visit st augustine!

Best service I’ve ever had! Thank you Randy, Paige, and Caitlin for a great night :) They set up the heaters for us outside, brought us extra sauces and made drink suggestions they thought we’d enjoy, and we chatted with all of them the whole time we were there. You guys are amazing! Definitely a highlight of my trip to St Augustine.
