I have better variety of fish on the menu the most restaurants in town, plus can also be wood fired. But they have changed the name on the sign to Boathouse. I believe this might be due to the fact that there's another restaurant named Fish House. They have cheesecake stuffed beignets for dessert with raspberry sauce. Everything was outstanding.

Visited with my family. The restaurant was not busy, many open tables. We were seated right away. We waited 20 minutes and no one came to our table. My wife got up and found a server and let him know. We waited another 10 minutes and still no one. We left.

Our server Courtney was awesome. She made sure our orders were right and she went above and beyond to get our elderly mother-in-law something to take her medicine in. The burger I had was one of the best burgers that I have ever had.

We visit St. Augustine to see the Christmas lights. Last year, we had a GREAT meal here. This year, we were told it chgd hands 3 wks before. Quite different now. Still have seafood but more of an oriental twist to the menu. Prices seem higher also. Try it out and see what u think!

We were really excited to try this place out and got sat right away. We were absolutely starving so waited... and waited.. and waited. Not a single person came to our table, no apologies for the wait. After 15mins, we left. Wish we could say we got to try something because it all sounded so good, but didn't even get the chance. I understand being busy (we'd have stayed if someone even said hello, sorry there's a wait), but nothing. Disappointing.

Absolutely a great place to hang out and eat. Hala and Alex behind the bar make great drinks and very friendly. Food is very good! Oyster special on Wednesday is a great deal.

Recent name change and revamp of the menu was not a good move. The menu expanded with a lot more seafood choices, and still almost nothing that isn't seafood. We had someone with us who cannot eat seafood at all, and she ended up with what could have only been a frozen burger patty. If you don't like seafood, don't come here. The fried chicken platter was removed from the menu, and it was a popular item among our group.
For the seafood, I don't understand a lot of the combinations. It's just some chef trying to make something that sounds unique in name, but it really doesn't translate to the plates. We tried a large variety of items, and most fell flat.
The prices went up a bit on all items. Prices did not correlate between cash register and menu. We were charged a considerably higher amount than what we had agreed to. I've since learned this is an ongoing issue at this location, so do check your bills.

As with every time before, this restaurant now known as "The Boathouse" did not disappoint!! Our server, Jacob, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable even though they were working with a very new menu for only three days prior!! Atmosphere is always great and very welcoming, including the restaurant cat "Oyster"!! We highly recommend this amazing restaurant!!
