I will eat here again. All I wanted was shrimp, it was fresh and taste nothing like the flash frozen shrimp you get in bags. My husband enjoyed his fish sandwich.

I just went to Taberna tonight after many years of not going there for old time sake. No bartender behind the bar for 10 minutes, the he came back, walks right past me, asks everyone at the bar but me if they want a drink. Finally the lady next to me points to me and says he wants one. I said, yeah I’ll take one. The bartender rudely responds you can take the door. I should have walked out but I was so shocked I thought I must have misheard him so I still ordered a drink. I should have taken the door out as he suggested…I will never go back to Taberna.

Overall the place was Ok, nothing to be excited about. Would look for other places and probably won’t remember for next time.

My first time visiting the restaurant I’ve noticed the atmosphere based in the 1700’s old tavern vibe with Spanish music, candlelight and servers dressed with 1700 garb . This time I was shocked ! Looked like a fast food restaurant you see in the corner of any town. It was a deceiving experience .

Catch of the day was flounder and it was wonderful. The outdoor seating added to the friendly atmosphere.

My wife and I did our rehearsal dinner at the taberna and they were phenomenal. The food was sneaky good, I would definitely recommend the plantains, the beans, and most importantly the short rib. The bacon wrapped scallops rocked too!Autumn and her team took tremendous care of our whole group. I can’t say thank you enough.
