this has become my go to place for good Mexican food. not tex mex. Mexican Food. Servers and Staff are always friendly and the food is awesome. you can't go wrong on anything on there menu. Food is served hot " temperature" and that is important when it comes to my taste of Mexican food. their spices are right on and not overpowering. Chips and Salsa is amazing. Counter Service for Single or Friends hanging out is very inviting. Restaurant is Clean for what I have seen .

Fantastic! I had the taco americano. Try the queso with your chips also, then drizzle some on your taco.what I like best is they are great at doing it exactly the way you want. Extra tomato? No problem! Love the horchata and the margaritas too! In the two months we stayed in st Augustine we went here at least 10 times!

Very good Mexican food. Nice atmosphere. Good staff. Clean. There is plenty of room for going out with a group.

Horrible customer service. We tried them twice and food was wrong both times. Employee would rather argue than fix the food.

Ordered take-out that I picked up on A1A in plaza with Publix. Order was chicken enchiladas suizas, queso fundito, and a shredded chicken burrito. I asked for extra green sauce and was charged for it. The 3 enchiladas were loosely wrapped, cubed flavorless chicken, no sauce to be seen as what was put on was soaked up by the corn tortilla, if they even put it on after dipping them in the sauce. On the side was the rice and beans. Actually beans, then the rice right on top of the beans. Why did the have to mix them? My extra sauce - didn't receive. Enchiladas were dry, beans & rice were mixed together. Husband's burrito was shredded flavorless chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla with white cheese sauce smothered on top, then coated with shredded lettuce, a tomatoe slice and small doll-up of sour cream. Rice and beans on the side. Burrito looked like an enchiladas. Maybe it was. Who knows. Really no flavor. The queso funding did not come with any flour tortillas, just dip. The tortillas might as well have been from a bag. Thick, cold. Salsa was tomato juice. To make matters worse, I got violent stomach cramps about 45 min after eating half of my order which lasted till about 4 am. The restaurant itself seemed nice, it had a decent amount of tourists (families), big bar and that evening had drink specials. My recommendation is to find another Mexican restaurant and skip over this one.

Very disappointed, the food it was so plain… I got a chicken and beef tostada and both were very dry, honestly Taco Bell have more flavor.

We go there to play trivia. The food is ok but not the best Mexican I have ever had. It is very loud but we are playing trivia.

We had a craving for a really good taco upon arrival in St Augustine. Did a Google maps search for "tacos near me" and got lots of options, some close by. Checked out menus and reviews and chose Taco Libre #3. They were the furthest away at 21 minutes but well worth it. I was sold on it when I saw beef tongue as an option. Folks, don't let the name turn you off. It is the most flavorful and tender beef you'll ever eat... when it is done right. They do it right! I ordered one Lengua (beef tongue) and one Fiery Fish Tacos. My husband ordered the Pastor (pork) tacos. All were excellent. The fiery fish isn't fiery, but that's OK as it's flavor is fantastic. They serve chips and salsa upon seating. The service was impeccable, and everything was clean. The prices were also reasonable. I highly recommend a stop here.Parking: This is a huge restaurant with lots of seating. We easily found parking, but it was when they were not at all busy. I think it may be more difficult during busy times.

I can't really rate the food. We were promptly sat and spent money on the broken pool table, Foosball table (no ball) and games while waiting for our server. We got our drinks and some chips, ordered queso and our food. After receiving queso, our server did not return. We didn't have any chips to eat with the queso so it got cold and hard. One of my kids water spilled and we cleaned it up as best as we could, no help from staff. People that came 30 minutes after us got their food so we left. Manager comped our drinks.

This is a must stop. Best be hungry. The Fajita Burrito was unbeleivable. Almost ne er leave a reveiw but this was the best I have ever had. Could not finish it. Each bite had beef, chicken, shrimp and all the stuffing in it.
