“Purple Olive never disappoints, offers a diverse menu of deliciously executed dishes, great staff and reasonably priced. Fortunately, we made reservations for opening night at new location and the food was stellar! The renovations are lovely and bar area warm and inviting. We started with a shared crab cake appetizer and pleasantly surprised. For our entrees we ordered the Mahi encrusted in macadamia nuts with a mango rum butter over jasmine rice with wok stir fried vegetables and the Korean style short rib with same rice and veg set up. No room for dessert this time, but if you haven’t tried their chocolate gateau please do, you will not regret. Kudos to Chef Peter and his staff.“

From the moment the owner welcomes you with such warmth, to the cozy front porch, the soft lighting, and the Christmas decorations that create a truly beautiful atmosphere. You can feel the kindness, the cheesecakes are absolutely delicious, and the wine adds the perfect touch. “What an amazing new addition the Anastasia Blvd. Great intimate dining option with delicious food locally sourced! The steak I ordered was actually from The Chop Shop a local butcher and was paired with potato’s and asparagus I’m on a no carb kick so opted for all asparagus but the cut was good and preparation excellent. Bridget was our bartender and offered a wide option of craft cocktails however I’m a tequila and soda agave guy so typically stay in my lane. Again organic design and feel with a south Florida vibe great place to go for a drink and appetizers before downtown or stay for the evening either will be an experience you will enjoy.“

“Had a nice half-carafe of Italian Pinot Grigio on the deck overlooking St. George St in the sunshine. We visited on one of the coldest days of the year, therefore a very quiet day in St Augustine. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. We did not have any food so will not provide any ranking. Nice start to our afternoon!“
