Went in expecting to eat our server walked us through the restaurant and someone was in our seats that she didn't sit there. So instead of moving them she pointed out in the back and said y'all can go back there and there's a menu. We went back there to only to find no seats. So we left. Very unprofessional. And we are visiting friends so if you have a party of 6 or more good luck.

Service was friendly and timely. Food was fabulous. Lt. boil, blue crab corn chowder, gator tail, and humongous hotdogs for the kids. Everything was delicious. Everything was really fresh.Kid-friendliness: We ate out back at picnic tables to see the sunset. Great spot for busy kids. My kids found the path to the water and were looking for crabs.

The commanders, shellfish camp was a fun discovery just happened to choose it as a place to go to on this visit. The clams were great. The crab and clam soup could use some better seasoning, but certainly was hardy. I’m gonna recommend some old bay seasoning to kick it up a bit, I like these one of a kind authentic proprietorships.

This place is a gem- have eaten there twice in a week- the crab cakes are all crab, clams and shrimp steamed to perfection and the key lime tarts perfect! Able to eat out on the deck overlooking water and dog friendly. Service is fantastic we will be back again soon!

Prefer to sit outside if the weather is nice, very noisy inside. Grilled flounder was cooked just right, good coleslaw, the red potatoes were a bit overcooked, great green beans. The red Sangria was very tart.

We are visiting for 4 weeks from the Midwest and came across this gem. We’ve been back 7 or 8 times because of the great food and service and water views. Highly recommend the peel and eat shrimp or the crab cakes. Steamed oysters were also a hit. Special thanks to Nick and Reece for their outstanding and friendly service. We are looking forward to a return visit next spring.

Wow so glad we stopped by for late lunch! Bucket of local oysters lightly steamed (for easy opening) were excellent- must of had 35-40 oysters! Crab cakes were ALL crab and lighly crispy on outside, best we have had. Middle neck clams steamed were very flavorful and the clamChowder made with local clams one of the best we have had. Good value for the $&
