Clean the grease trap out. Hire some more staff if you’re not going to help them. Just some constructive criticism.

Would be great to get the waitress to even address my table for a drink refill or anything for that matter. My dinner was served with ingredients not on the menu, which I was allergic to. They didn't care. My first time here and my last.

Mushrooms were incredible, nacho would have been awesome with some onion jalepeno's. Service was friendly and good. Live music was fantastic!. Wife said her beer tasted funny, I thought it tasted fine. Please clean your mop water and change your mop head, that is where that smell is coming from right when you walk in the door.

The band were awesome and we had a blast. Reasonably priced drinks and delicious nachos.

Went there for a private event. The food was good. The atmosphere was wonderful. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed.

The smoked chicken quesadilla with a lemon drop martini was perfect. We danced, we ate, we drank and had an awesome night. Highly recommended this little hole in the wall.

Came in for Wednesday night Trivia while passing through town on our boat. Sat at the bar and had some really nice smoked buffalo wings. Crowd was almost all regulars but were friendly and polite.

Every draft beer was sour. We sampled all of them! Upon entering, the place looked dirty and had a terrible odor. Bartender was oblivious to the fact that their draft beer is spoiled. Doubt that the beer lines were ever cleaned. Very shady place. Older, retirement crowd. Wouldn’t ever visit this place again EVER!

Great music but keep an eye on your belongings! My coat was stolen right off the back of my chair. I certainly hope the lowlife who did this understands karma.

Worst service ever, the guy who served us was very rude, the food took over an hour, that’s the kind of place that you have to delete of your list to go.I wasn’t wrong when I thought you were the owner because you looked like a public office guy instead a kindly waitress, you only wanted took orders without hear the customers neither try to make the people feel comfortable, ok you’re the owner but you don’t have a minimum idea of how to treat the customers and the best example is your answer to this, only a threat with say not to get access next time, you can save your threat because nobody would like to go to a place where is being threaten and with a bad service, to end please don’t talk about help you weren’t helping anybody you were making business (totally legit) but we the costumers went there PAYING, do not try to offend all the customers treating them like homeless receiving your help

The crowded and uneven parking lot is horrendous. I arrived with my friend, and we were seated at a cramped little table. After we sat, another party of four came, and they were sat directly next to us, it looked like we were together and we weren't. The party of four got their drinks and food first, despite me and my friend arrived before them and ordered our drinks before them. The music and atmosphere was too loud, and I was thankful for the breaks in between songs to talk to my dinner companion. We had to wait for our food 45 minutes to an hour. We ordered the bread pudding, poutine, smoked fish dip, and a house salad. When we were eating, the door opened, and let in cigarette smoke, which killed most of my appetite.I've had poutine from an A&W in Canada that was one thousand times better than what The Beacon calls a poutine. The cheese was watery, and the meat was good if the salty gravy hadn't overpowered the flavor. But maybe that's because the fries were stale and cold. I stopped eating it because of the hair I found on the plate. The bread pudding was odd, because of the rye or pumpernickel flavor. The onions in the salad weren't fresh, but the fish was.It felt like they were understaffed, cooks and bartenders were helping the waitresses, workers going back and forth and shouting over the music to be heard. Not very fun when you're hungry and annoyed that you can't be heard. The best part was the relief I felt when I left The Beacon.I will not be coming back.--------Edit:In response to the business owner, I was 100% sober for this disappointing New Year's Eve experience. My friend and I were completely aware of what was occuring. We were not asked which table we wanted, and we were certainly not offered an "upgrade".I did not want to make a scene, and shout my complaints about the hair to the overwhelmed waitress. The band (Those Guys: Walt, Steve, Derek, & Jimmy,) was not the issue. It was the VOLUME of the music that hurt us.

Food was NOT good at all. Hummus tasted like water, shrimp tacos were bland, nacho cheese dip from the appetizers tasted weird, Like powdered watered down cheese. The flatbread tasted like ellios pizza. Really not good for food lol at all, others in my party have been here before and said the food wasn't good the last time they were here- so it is not a 1 time error. Not eating here again.

This place is amazing… the food was good ?… the service was incredibly nice and attentive, the music from the band of the night(Soul Fire) was the best ????… if you are staying or stopping by Saint Augustine this place is a must. Highly recommend it.

Pretty disappointing. We went for an advertised 'Taco Tuesday', only to realize it was just adcertising, there was no taco special. That was alright, none of the tacos on the extremely limited menu sounded very appealing. The food we did get was saturated in oil, and part.of our order was forgotten. It made it's way out eventually. Our waitress was much more interested in hanging out with the bar back than taking care of our table. Our drinks were never refilled, even though it was supposed to be buy one get one. We got the one only. Can't recommend this place.
