Great coffee spot! I tried their Kookaburra Tea and it was refreshing! The frozen hot chocolate is a great option too! The place is the perfect place to sit and enjoy yourself. Close to the beach and friendly staff! Only thing missing is a matcha option :)

Cute shop, good coffee and service. Go early it gets super busy. The lemon blueberry scones are very good, the Honey Badger latte is delicious. The GF/vegan muffins are heavy on the cinnamon so make sure you love cinnamon if you order that. The staff is friendly and nice, good place to sit in the morning sun and enjoy your coffee.

did not appreciate the passive aggressive tone from the other review. It could’ve been a simple fix of an issue. We just wanted to point out the coffee was sour which is not normal. I get sometimes people clean their filters with vinegar so that could just be the issue. Whatever it is, it seems like complaints are generally taken in a salty way by whoever that answers reviews.

Worst coffee I’ve ever had. It had to be the water or something but it was very sour and so was my wife’s. I googled to see if Australian coffee is usually sour and we just didn’t know. No, it was just sour and bad.

Honestly.. not very good. Way over priced for the product you're getting. I got a strawberry matcha latte and it came out to $8.88. Literally tasted like nothing.

This place is by far the best coffee I have ever had. I have been all around the country and The Kookaburra is definitely on top. It is always consistent. I highly recommend!

After a 3.5 hour drive from HHI we needed to stop for a long overdue cappuccino, maps had us turn around for another cafe when Andrea spotted this kookaburra cafe. The coffees where what we needed!!! And the cappuccino was above expectations!!
