We have enjoyed the pineapple and ham pizza at Tony’s. Can get busy but I have always gone for take out. Despite being busy, our normal time gets us in and out within 25 minutes. They do have a few places to sit down inside but they’ll most likely be occupied, however there are beach and river access next door. There’s a good park with plenty of parking across the street where I have just sat at a park bench and enjoyed the evening. Location has easy on and off island access with store fronts next door in the same plaza.
Parking: Even if the lot is full, there is beach parking across the street with a crosswalk.

I use to love this place, not sure if it’s under new ownership now but quality has went down on the pies. Use to be much crispier and not so much cheese & sauce like a NY pie.

Stayed nearby for a long weekend. Reviews showed 4.3 out of 400+ reviews. How in the heck did this happen? Something has obviously changed here. Service was terrible and took forever. We had 6 people and every person received food one plate at a time as if the kitchen was totally inexperienced. We were only people eating in side. First place I've been to selling Chek drinks for 3 bucks each and would not give water only bottles available the lady said. Please do not waste your time just drive a few miles north to Bronx house much better service and well worth the few mile drive. You will get served before you do at Tony's even with the drive. Lol. Not usually this negative but this was bad.

Called on Saturday to order a pizza. Was promptly informed by a Rude young lady that they could not make a pizza due to running out of pizza dough. I’m not a cook but how do you run out of dough at 4:45 on a Saturday night. It’s literally flour, yeast and warm water. Unreal.

This is definitely is not true Italian/ New York style pizza so I’m not sure why some people equate this as such. They use a TON of sauce and the crust is thicker and chewier than real New York style. Staff was super friendly and pizza was ok but the expectations were set pretty high and this is just mediocre pizza.
A fun pizza joint! Food was very good! Owner was very professional!
