I’ve probably eaten at Umai Sushi & Hibachi once a week (if not more!) for the last three years of my life—and let me tell you, not once have I had a bad bite.

Came in last minute and absolutely awesome! Very welcoming. No rolling of the eyes and unwelcoming. This place makes you feel comfortable and welcomed also the food is great. Even have Toro. Thanks for the experience.

Shocked! Went for lunch. $11.95 for Hibachi Chicken, what a deal. Came with soup and salad. Portions were huge and cooked to perfection. We will return.

My husband and I have dined here several times during our visits to St. Augustine, and we've always had a wonderful experience. The service and food are excellent! The restaurant is consistently clean and spacious. I appreciate their weekend lunch specials, which include soup and salad. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a pleasant and inviting ambiance. Instrumental piano music played softly during our lunch, adding a delightful touch. I enjoyed the rose Boba tea for dessert; it was truly amazing! We will certainly return soon. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was not nice , took my friend out for lunch , were excorded to the back of the restaurant , although the the front of the restaurant was quite nice , no sitting there , I guess it's dinner crowd , will never go there again , what a shame , we only live amile away , I don't like eating in a cave atmosphere.

Consistently good food. Love their lunch special Bento Box. It's a lot of food for a very reasonable price. Sushi is quite good as well. Wait staff are always very helpful and great with my kids too.

Was blown away by how good the food was! One of the best Japanese meals I've ever had! That says a lot - really can't say enough about how good the food was!!!!
Everything was fresh!
Their sauces are exceptional!

Although, Hibachi is in the name there isn't a hibachi grill to sit at!

Thought that was weird!

Their food made up for it!

They didn't need a grill!
One of the biggest plus' -
it was surprisingly inexpensive!!!
