Umai Sushi Hibachi

Meh meh sushi. I must be spoiled when it comes to sushi in the NY/NJ area because this was equivalent to the sushi you’d get from ShopRite up here.

Very accommodating to my large group, food was fast and tasted great.

Parking: Not often packed but there should always be some parking spaces.

Food was good, problem is small portion sizes. Had the steak hibachi, ate it all and was still hungry. Smallest hibachi portion i have ever had. Usually a hibachi place loads it up, not this place. Will not be coming back

We had the most delightful server! Amy is exceptional and probably the best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!
She suggested some menu items that were delicious and was just so sweet and attentive.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Had a great evening here with the family. The sushi was top notch; chicken katsu was on point. The server was friendly and efficient. I personally enjoyed the Unagi dragon roll; and would have a hard time ordering differently now.

The Sushi was excellent. Fresh and very flavorful. The presentation was great also. Our server "Amy" was FANTASTIC! She offered great suggestions and was FUN and so FRIENDLY! She really went above and beyond to make our experience great!

Came to the Car Musem and was looking for a place for lunch and ran into this little jewel. Tender hibachi steak, the filet appetizer was also tender and balanced in taste. Really enjoyed the Thai tea and the tempura bananas for desert.

Poor service. Stood at the door for 5 minutes while the sushi chefs looked at us and the staff seemed to be absent. The restaurant was not slammed or crazy busy.Ordered drinks after a bit and my food was out before the drinks. Continued to wait in the drinks while the waitress waited on other tables and brought them their drinks. The miso soup I was given was lukewarm. We were finally given drinks for the party of 3. The waitress walked by several times disregarding the waiting dishes to be taken away and an empty drink. I asked on the third time if I had to order a new drink or how I got a refill. My friends were waiting on their food over 10 minutes after I got mine so the combination of that and the waitress. This was a poor experience and not sure if I would come back based on this service I experienced. Also spoke to 2 different people about the issue When leaving ask for A to go container they couldn’t even find that so my $18 meal was now junk. I should’ve just taken the plate.
