We ordered pizza 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday night and I was very impressed with the quality of food as well as as the staff. Nick was extremely pleasant to talk to while I was waiting on my pizza and the pizza itself was delicious.

The pizza was floppy, very burnt tasting, and not much flavor. For the pizza oven they have, there should have been some crunch. Especially coming from NYC, this is not good pizza. The flies were everywhere outside as well.

This has been the most racist experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Sadly, it wasn’t just a one-time situation. From the beginning, the staff at V Pizza in St. Augustine always made us feel unwelcome, but we tried to ignore it because we just wanted to enjoy a nice time with friends.

On our last visit, after giving our party size, some friends decided to join last minute, so we told the staff our group was larger. They said they didn’t have a table, which we accepted. A few minutes later, those same friends told us they might be late, so we went back and said we were actually the original number again. Instead of understanding, the staff accused us of lying! The way they treated us was extremely disrespectful and, frankly, racist. We ended up sitting in the self-serve section just to avoid further issues.

Two weeks later, when we went back, the same manager from last time came up to us and said they refuse to provide us service—not just no table, but completely refusing us service in the entire restaurant. She claimed it was a “regional manager decision” because of what happened last time. I was shocked. I have never experienced this level of racism in my entire life.

V Pizza in St. Augustine deserves ZERO stars. No one should ever be treated this way.

Your statement is not accurate. We hadn’t visited V Pizza from May through August, so some of what you described couldn’t have involved us. On our recent visit we were in the self-service area, and the manager told me directly that because someone (not me or my husband) had spoken in a way she “didn’t like,” our entire group of 7 families would not be served. Punishing an entire group for one person’s actions (that I wasn’t even aware of) and referring to us as “you people” is a pure act of racism.

When I told her this was racist, she denied it, turned her back, and walked away. I asked for management’s contact info to escalate and was refused. At no point did we use profanity or insult your staff. The way this was handled was unfair, biased, and left us deeply disappointed.

Great pizza! I can even get a good cauliflower crust pizza. I'll be coming back.

My experience at V Pizza and Flask and Cannon Bar is mixed but mostly positive.
Today's brunch menu was excellent, easily earning five stars. We thoroughly enjoyed the calzones, pizza, and breakfast cocktails.
The V Pizza side is quite casual, with no table service, making it perfect for large family gatherings and families with small children, thanks to its outdoor seating. Regardless of where you sit, you'll get the same quality pizza from their shared kitchen.
We also noticed an improvement in pizza consistency this year – less charring and better topping distribution than before. It's always a good sign when a restaurant refines its offerings!
I particularly appreciated the cozier atmosphere and better ambiance at the Flask and Cannon Bar, along with their great selection of beer and original cocktails. No wonder why sometimes it is so busy you cannot get a table.

Ok so pitcher that the fact of the day is it’s lunch time and this crust crusher is hungry because I spend the morning doing nothing on the beach how that happens I don’t know but it did and my stomach was calling for some serious ZAH! As in a crispy halo, greese frisbee, yes pizza the perfect lunch was at V pizza. Great service, Mario was so kind as I pretty much starred at his making his best creation knowing I was and still am a crust rider or sliceaholic we had the cheese nyc thin crust (sorry not sorry Chicago but my toppings belong on top of the pizza not on the middle-that’s called shepherds pie or calzone not a pizza). I ate the pie up like tomorrow was never coming and if it didn’t ok I would have a full belly. Wish they tossed the Cole for Pepsi, I mean fa get a boud dit…who drinks coke with a pizza anyway. Can’t wait to come back but I had to do do some body boarding on the waves first

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this place! Pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection 👌, vodka cavatappi with meatballs was AMAZING and the chocolate cake was light and delicious! Spicy margaritas were great! He loved the rootbeer and Gelato float.

Went to V's pizza for a quick lunch with the kids and my mom. The atmosphere is great, they have an awesome outdoor space for kids to play and run around. The young man, Nate, at the to go counter was so nice and helpful! He saw I had my hands full with all the Fountain drinks and helped me take them to the table. And brought out a stromboli for us since it was our first time! Food was delicious!
