We first visited Violas two years ago, and it was so good we invited everyone to visit, They are small, but what a good, warm, charming place with good people. We return for our anniversary to find the portions smaller and very different and no longer in the same environment. It was very disappointing They were the standard for fine food and service.

We absolutely adore Viola’s! The amazing aromas from the kitchen as you walk in the door keep us coming back. We eat in and we take out. Owner is very responsive. Food is fabulous and everyone is cross trained to pitch in to help with whatever is necessary to make the customer happy. One of our favorite spots on the island!

Had take out pizza burnt on one side call and told them about the pie the person that I talked to said thank you for letting us know said she would let the cooks know maybe there was a hot spot in the oven never offered any discounts or replacement food want be going back.

The food and the service was really good, my deception was the sangria, expensive for nothing , never had a sangria like that before, it was just a glass of wine that they poured into our glasses full of ice and 1 tiny slice of lemon and 1 orange.

Very cool place, old house turned restaurant. The staff was great, Anne Marie was so kind. The cheesy garlic bread was killer, the chicken parm is a great deal and truly amazing fried chicken, the lasagna was huge and so flavorful, the chicken Marsala did fall short for me but overall it was a great experience. Definitely a good spot for a local eatery and will definitely come back when in the area.

You will wait even if you have a reservation. It’s a small restaurant so that isn’t surprising, but no apps or drinks offered as an apology. Our group brought our own wine, to which the server broke the cork in. She blames the bottle, but she also took the wine to the back to open vs at our table, so who knows what really happened. Despite this, they still charged us a corkage fee.
Food is bland. Not much seasoning in any of the sauces. If you cook, you can make better Italian at home. None of the pasta is home made. They declared they’re just too busy to do that, despite also using the “small restaurant only 13 tables” excuse when it came to wait times.
Some of the dishes were great, some average, and some not so great. Our take out order was ready earlier than promised, which was great. My biggest complaint was the prices for online ordering were $2 to $4 more per entre than in the store. The prices were higher than comparable chain restaurants but the food wasn't better and didn't come with salads as they would have there. From the reviews, perhaps this is a good eat-in restaurant, but I don't necessarily recommend it for take out. I recommend against the mozzarella sticks either way. The staff was very polite when I picked up the order.
