I have stalked thos place for a few years now and never made it in. We stopped in today after blueberry picking.OMDThis place was definitely worth all the hype.My ribs were Huge and meaty and I have enough left for 2 more meals!Mac n' cheese and collards were great too.That datil cornbread tho . . . I should've ordered more it was so freaking good.

As a self proclaimed Pit Master and BBQ Snob, I have to place Woodpeckers at the top of a very small list of really good local BBQ joints. The downhome atmosphere and friendly waitstaff adds to the experience.

Came up here from Crescent, about an hour away. Had the sliced turkey. This was by far the best turkey I’ve ever had. It was juicy and tender. The sides were phenomenal. You can’t leave without getting their apple cobbler. Friendly service. Worth the drive and will be back!

Stopped imby after fishing. Turkey and sausage were good. Brisket was average. Cornbread was dry. Peach cobbler wasn't anything to rave about.
