A Feast Beside the Water: A Crabby’s Evening to Remember
We didn’t come for just dinner—we came chasing a feeling. That particular kind of evening where time slows down, salt clings to the breeze, and the water glows like polished glass beneath a descending sun.
Crabby’s met us there.
From the moment we sat on the dockside patio, with boats rocking gently in the harbor and live music floating through the warm air, we knew we’d made the right call. The sky—brilliant and blue—seemed to smile on our plans.
We started with oysters, both raw and steamed—simple, cold, briny jewels of the sea, as if served straight from Poseidon’s pantry. They vanished fast. Then came the lobster bites—crisp, golden, and decadent. But the main event? The crab claw feast.
And what a feast it was.
The tray arrived like a treasure chest cracked open: a brilliant sprawl of stone crab claws, each one packed with delicate meat, served with a creamy dipping sauce and the primal satisfaction of a wooden mallet. I cracked open claw after claw in disbelief—there was so much meat! Sweet, perfectly chilled, and astonishingly fresh. We paired it with seasoned fries and a touch of broccoli, pretending for a moment we were being virtuous.
Drinks in hand, eyes on the water, music in the background—we didn’t just eat. We exhaled. Every detail—from the portions to the view to the easy-going rhythm of the staff—felt like an answer to a question we didn’t know we’d asked: What if dinner could be a small, perfect escape?
Crabby’s wasn’t just good. It was a memory made over shellfish, sunshine, and a quiet kind of joy.
Absolutely delicious.
Sat at the bar hoping to have a drink and lunch. Was completely ignored by staff. A larger group came in after some time and were helped right away. Staff needs training desperately. Waited for quite a while then just walked out thirsty and hungry.
The best fries in St Cloud!!
Great food and always great atmosphere.
Parking can be a drag, make sure you take some extra time because you may have to walk further from other lots.
If you’re going on a weekend make sure you plan to wait a while for food because it’s always very busy.
Nice place to have drinks and some seafood. Great date night

It used to be a great place with good food. They need to sell, or offer and cook better food to go with their beautiful atmosphere.
