Ok, we'll admit you would ride right by this place and never think twice. We happened upon it as a 1/2 way point across the state for family and we are glad we did. Small place but food was good and prices very reasonable. Neat memorabilia and antiques decorated the walls. The waitress was a hoot. "I'd like the chicken salad sandwich". "That's nice but you can't have that or the tuna salad." "Ok, how about a BLT" "That depends"."On what whether or not you have bacon" " No, whether or not we got tomato". She had a line for each person but it was her stick and she was like family by the end of the meal. The kids were treated with kindness and friendliness. All our food was tasty and filling. Bathroom and W/C friendly. So, don't be hesitate to stop here. the locals do.
OMG Vicki !! She owns it in every sense of the word. She's your hostess, waitress, cook, server, and cashier. Legit home cooking. Not to be confused with "home style" cooking. Stop by, go out of your way to meet her. Stay a spell.

Visiting here is always pleasant with fresh cooked food and fun banter with the lady I'd you want it. Food is worth doing for and the sweet tea is always fresh!

We ordered ahead and had those amazing grilled ham and cheese sandwiches! Perfect! Perfect fries and home made sweet tea. Loved the signs (especially in men's room) and see why this place is so beloved. Worth diverting from the turnpike for a more scenic - and tasty - ride theough Orlando area. Great place for dogs out back.
Excellent mom and pop restaurant, awesome food! Vicky is very polite and funny, great experience. Really recommend!
