I tried to get food here, but I was ignored for 10 minutes so I decided to leave. There were at least 5 people that saw me and I was first in line, however, they would skip me and take payments rather than make a new order.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, the food was amazing and very tasty. The chicken soup and pig feet was delicious, they also have the best tostones ever. Waitress was very friendly also.

Went in today, we were the only ones at the counter and seriously weighted 25 mins to get a to go order while the woman behind the register was taking telephone orders, seriously?? Several people left out the door. Food was ok, just on the bland side though, where is the seasoning? Had two older ladies upfront as slow as could be and overwhelmed by the work. Seriously, need younger staff up front, that can keep the pace. Probably won't come back again, a lot of obese customers, dont know how healthy this is?

I have NO IDEA how this place has such high reviews. The food was BLAND. The food LOoKED good and I really wanted to like it. But the quality reminded me of lunchroom food from high school in Puerto Rico. Beans, patitas, carne guisada and yellow rices had ZERO sofrito. ZERO cooking ham used in beans. ZERO bay leaves. I was insulted to have to pay $28 for such awful meals. It almost seemed like the usual cook called in sick and an inexperienced cashier took over the kitchen. I normally never write bad reviews but I felt I had to warn everyone. Oh...and there was a roach crawling on table # 6. ??

Stopped in today for lunch for the first time with a party of 3. There was one other family of 4 getting ready to order when we arrived at about 12:15p. We placed our order before they did & got our appetizer/drinks quickly. Unfortunately, they did not have the appetizer we asked for & we had to change to something else. The main entrees did not come out for more than 1 hour & 15 mins. The other family who ordered just after us went to ask about their food & were told next time they can call ahead to order because everything is made fresh & takes time to make. Their food finally come out before ours. At that point, we decided we were going to pay for what we had eaten/drank already & were going to leave. Once we said we were leaving, the server asked us not to leave as they were plating the food at that moment. We ended up staying since we had waited so long already. The food was okay, but not worth over an hour's wait. In addition, they were telling other tables coming in it would only be 20 mins for their food and it was not 20 mins. I saw that most were waiting 45 mins or more for their food & had to go ask where their food was. It would help if they were upfront with patrons about true wait times or any delays in the kitchen before the patrons get upset.

I went to place an order to go from the buffet they offer. The only reason I’m even writing this review is because I was insulted by my grandmother after telling her I paid $18. Dollars for one plate and a small avocado salad. The rice was hard and the meat was hard too. I have to say that the staff is super nice and friendly and that does go a long way for me but the quality of food is way overpriced. You can totally get better and more food at places like Bravos supermarket, Thrifty supermarket in St. Cloud among others. I was embarrassed by my own family with and all I wanted was to bring food home . I will suggest that they lower their prices at least because they will grow as a small restaurant.

This place is legit. Every time I come they have a super friendly attitude and a mega delicious buffet. I asked for a fritura and they cooked it on the spot. Cuban sandwiches are amazing too. If you come this way don’t miss it!

We had our dinner here last night. I had the fried red snapper & my hubby had the ropa vieja (shredded beef). They did not disappoint. I still had some fish left to go. It was tasty and satisfying. The service was very personable. The cook even went to check on us to make, everything is in to our liking. The servers were sweet and attended to us really well. Upon walking in, you'll see that the place is clean. It wasn't crowded at all and their server was very nice and attentive. We will go back again.
