It was my second time in this place and it was as good as it gets. No waiting, friendly waiters, our drinks served almost immediately. I had catfish with fries, my husband - a combo plate with flounder, shrimps and some other fish I don't recall the name of. Also with fries. It was wonderful. Hot, crispy breading on fresh and juicy fish and seafood. The fries were hot and delicious too. We had plenty of tartar and cocktail sauce. It was delightful and not soaking with grease like some places do. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

If the owners accept some fair critics - the coleslaw shouldn't be as wet and watery. Thanks!

If you want to experience southern seafood comes to the Catfish Place in St. Cloud California Ave and 13th St. our server Britney was outstanding she was passionate on providing an excellent service. I ordered the Catfish sandwich, steamed shrimp 🦐 as an appetizer, snow crab legs and for dessert peach šŸ‘ cobbler yummy!.

The food is usually as good as it's always been for most the part. But I feel like the service has gone down since the upgrade that they did by adding the open bar. Also the younger staff tend to have attitude sometimes which is very annoying. Now , it seems more of a tourist stop through Saint Cloud, instead of a mom and pop shop. I used to go about twice a week with my grandfather, and ever since they remodeled I go every blue moon now only for the tiger sauce.

Been eating there since I was little. Never had a bad experience. My family ate there almost every week. Amazing place. Was just there this past Monday. Gator with their special sauce and chicken tenders dipped in the corn melted butter and fried okra with their homemade ranch is what I order and is my favorite! And don’t forget to leave room for their cobbler! Gumbo and chowder is great too! They are very caring and kind people that care about our community because they aren’t just a restaurant in the community they part of the community too. Called with a concern about a new school that needed catering for school lunches for the kids and was met with enthusiasm to want to help in any way they could and above and beyond what I was thinking! However they were only able to help a few times but I still appreciated that so much!

I used to come regularly with old owners. Prices raised( I'm not mad...prices raise) I retired and really could not afford to dinner there anymore. Today we went for the first time under new owner. I was happy to see the great remodel but kept the mural art. It felt like home. From the sweet tea to the catfish and hush puppies and Cole slaw all just as good as I remember. I can afford to do lunch there quite pleased.
As usual the service was wonderful, our server was helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I wish I got her name but she has a long in blonde pony tail.vshe was great and friendly
I can't say enough good things if I could give you 10 stars I would
Until our next lunch out.

DISAPPOINTED
We drove 1 1/2 hours to The Catfish Place to celebrate my husband's. birthday, per his request.
The last time we eat here a few years back it left a memberable impression. The food was outstanding and great service.
We were soooooo disappointed today.
Sorry, it's not as we remembered.
We will not make that trip again.

After an Airboat ride we stopped for dinner as the boat guide recommended! From start to finish our waitress Margaret was absolutely phenomenal! She got us a catfish sample, recommended items from the menu and was so personable and sweet! The food was great, but service was spectacular! Thank you again Margaret for making us feel welcome and your alligator hunting story!

I’m spoiled because I’ve had fried fish in Los Angeles, Louisiana as well as other places. So I’ve had good crispy, wild season, hot fresh fish. Different cultures make fried fish differently. This is more suitable for the folks in Florida who prefer fried fish How do I say this properly? Some cultures like food that is seasoned lightly. This is one of those places.

Wow! How times have changed. We have lived in Osceola County for 38 years. Many times have we eaten at The Catfish Place in St Cloud. The food was always tasty, the portions large and the menu prices reasonable. Not any more! Although the food and portion size are still agreeable, the astronomical menu prices are close to double what they were just a few years ago. I don’t understand how they expect us ā€˜peons’ in Osceola County to afford Winter Park prices. Every item on the menu has increased to such a degree that one must consider alternative restaurant choices. The special luncheon menu use to be a favorite for many of us, with numerous selections in the $8 to $10 range, now those same selections are double the price, in just a few years. We will not be returning as there are many fine eating establishments that offer similar food for much less money. We knew there would be changes when the new owners took over two years ago, we just didn’t believe the menu prices would become so inflated.

Last night my husband and I had a later dinner at The Catfish Place. My husband hadn’t been there since Rife’s was open and was hopeful for how dinner would be. He ordered catfish with green beans, I had chicken wings with a side salad and we ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. The fried pickles were fresh and definitely homemade. My husband doesn’t care for pickles but these were perfect! My side salad came before the meal and was so good, especially with extra of their croutons! Our main meals were hot, fresh and sooooo delicious! My husband’s green beans came with a potato and he loved it! He said the catfish was seasoned and fried perfectly! My wings were a hit as always (it’s my usual go-to) Our dinner was excellent! Thank you!
