We come to Vanessa’s once in a blue. It’s always been good but we came today and it was a horrible experience. It’s a sit down place but they serve like it’s a to go. Based on their prices, it should be different.
ordered drinks and breakfast for 4 people. Got called for order about 15 mins if waiting, was just drinks. 2 hot chocolates (kids) and two different coffees. all were served in to go cups when we are dining in. There was no labeling, no explanation of what was what. I had to taste each one to figure it out. Coffee was ok. some time had past and didn’t hear anything on food. I attempted to go to pick up window to ask but there was a line if people asking for their drinks to be corrected. Staff seemed overwhelmed. I was finally able to ask about my food. The lady at the pick up window said, i don’t know, thats the kitchen. When they are done, they will call it out and she went back to making drinks. not a great response I then went to register to talk to gentleman there. not sure if he was manager or not. Carlos was his name. I asked him about our food. I just wanted to make sure when it was coming because it had been a while, we were almost done with our drinks. He went to check and came back and said they ran out of steak for my steak and eggs meal. He asked if i wanted a replacement. I said at this time, no. I asked about the food for family. He said that was done. I said please bring it out. I don’t want to wait any longer for another meal. I asked for refund. Food came out. i went back to him for refund, he said i cant give me refund back to card. He gave me $20 bill. I’m like the meal was more than that. I had to check receipt, it was $21.99. I told him and went back to the table. He comes back with $2. My wife said what about additional charge, they charge a service fee on top of food. She mentioned couple cents, he offered to give a couple of cents. It was insulting. He did give us free water bottles but That doesn’t really cover my time wasted and not getting my food. The service is not acceptable. I rather go to starbucks’s or IHOP then to go back here.

Stopped by Vanessa Coffee Shop and had a great experience. The customer service was incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The coffee was really good, perfectly made and flavorful. We also had breakfast and everything tasted fresh and delicious.
Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great coffee and a fresh breakfast with amazing service!

We stopped by on a road trip. The first thing as we walked in they handed us menus and told us to sit anywhere. This place is self serve/ order, no staff member told us we ordered online so we almost walked out. The special coffee is hard to order because you order every ingredient for you coffee it doesn't have a list. Food was anything specific. Definitely not stopping again. And you pick up your stuff at a window like Wawa

Today 2/3/26 I went to Vanessa's Coffee Shop IN THE PUBLIX SHOPPING CENTER ON CANOE CREEK and the shop is pretty. That's where the compliments end. The girl at the counter looked MISERABLE, I ordered coffee and a egg, cheese, bacon PANNINI sandwich. I paid $18.00. The hazelnut coffee was TAR, even though I tried to fix it there was no hope. It didn't taste like nothing but TAR. She had on a PUS that was EVEN MAKING ME FEEL UPSET. The young boy gave me a juice instead because I told Him I couldn't drink the coffee. Then she called my name and put a bag on the counter and walked away with her bitter self. First of all, I DID NOT RECEIVE A PANNINI SANDWICH, I GOT A SOGGY WARM BREAD WITH RAW BACON. I SAT THERE AT HOME FURIOUS THAT I PAID FOR THIS CRAP. $18.00 For BAD service and HORRIBLE FOOD. If you're in the area and looking for a good place to eat BREAKFAST OR ANYTHING RELATED, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!

HOLY COW! We’ve been striking out on all the coffee shops we have tried on this trip and then we found Vanessa’s. The coffee is excellent, food was so yummy and they had great service! If I lived in the area, this would be a spot I’d frequent.

Stopped here on a whim. Just needed a coffee on my way to Indiatlantic. The coffee was perfect. I also had a pizza empanada that reminded me of the ones I had when I was a kid in Puerto Rico, piping hot and the cheese completely melted. Excellent! The decor and vibe of the place is really cool and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend this place.

What an amazing little gem. Went first thing on a Sunday morning and the ambiance and service was fantastic. I was excited to order a mallorca as I haven’t yet found a place that sells them to my liking. It was fantastic! Pillow soft bread and the ham, cheese and egg were delicious. I ordered an extra sweet white chocolate latte and it also did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!
Food was under cooked and the most nasty food I’ve had . My husband and i are disappointed. The egg looked like they cooked it for a few seconds. Just nasty never again . A waste of $40 plus
