Shiso Crispy offers a unique dining experience with a focus on Asian-inspired cuisine. Operating from a food truck, the chef's experience in Asia and family background in the restaurant industry shine through in the intentional, small menu. Entrees are generously portioned and reasonably priced. Standout dishes include the bang bang short rib and dirty rice, while the lobster Rangoon has been noted as perhaps the crispiest in town, despite some not identifying any lobster in the actual Rangoons. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provide excellent service, even preparing part of the order fresh for customers. The food truck can be accessed by passing through an air-conditioned lounge area or using the alleyway entrance. Although the menu is limited and some customers have expressed a desire for more options, the food is quick and satisfying, making it a spot worth returning to.
