Over priced. ($3.50 for 1 cup of coffee). Long service times. (47 minutes for a sandwich). If you're going to order the "Railway Reuben" ($15.50) be prepared to be severely disappointed. There are only two very thin pieces of corned beef about the size of a post it note and so thin there is only one side. The beef is also tough as boot leather as I wasn't able to bite or chew through it. It actually came out of the bread in one whole piece. I'd steer clear of this place in the future.

I’m a bit mystified as to all the rave reviews for this restaurant. It is true that it is cute and has a children’s play area. However, the menu is very expensive, it takes a long time to get the food and it isn’t really that good. And while they do technically serve breakfast all day, you get to pay a $2 upcharge after 11am for breakfast foods. I’m probably not the target clientele for this as I don’t really care about them not microwaving or having anything from frozen. I prefer tasty food that is served more quickly and I don’t like paying dinner prices for lunch. But it’s also true that Starke has very few offerings besides fast food and bbq, so maybe that’s why some people are fans.

30 minutes to get a wrap and salad. Relatively busy but seemed understaffed. Wrap was missing the avocado, spinach and romaine but a ton of mixed greens and very little chicken. The salad was loaded with onions, no spinach and a weird wet “pita” bread with spicy red pepper hummus not noted on menu. Since I can’t eat peppers, server offered to have them make something else but we couldn’t wait so I kind of ate around it and still paid full price. Since we weren’t happy, server didn’t offer us a water refill and handed us off to a rude server who couldn’t bother to thank us and slapped down our credit card. Shame cause this has been our travel spot for years but now TOO expensive, TOO slow and TOO rude.

It doesn't get anymore authentic than Calĺ Street. The only thing frozen there is the ice. Everything on the menu is prepared as you order it.

Excellent fresh, healthy options! This place is one of the best for good, healthy food served with good attention to detail by a great staff in a charming small town.

First time visiting this small restaurant. Was recommended by a friend. I'm sure glad we stopped.
We enjoy biscuits and gravey with hashbrowns. The traveler meal with homefries. Was hot fresh. The server was Kamyo she was nice and friendly. She gave refills to our coffee and soda.
Small play area for kids to play while waiting on food or family to finish.

We’ve stopped for breakfast at the Call Cafe several times driving on the way home to NJ from Sarasota. It’s always been fabulous and this morning was no exception. I had the egg white omelette special with toasted corn and black beans - outstanding. My husbands’ easy over eggs were cooked to perfection. Staff is friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable. Definitely worth the stop!

Kid-friendliness: Kid play area while you dine. With a kid with ADHD it is much appreciated.

This restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. We came here for breakfast. It’s in downtown Starke. Great service and the food came out in a good time and it was very good. The coffee is flavorful and the pancakes were amazing. I can’t really explain it, but they were probably some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had anywhere. The portions of the food looks small because my wife and I ordered one meal and split it and they were kind enough to put it on separate plates for us.

Kid-friendliness: I’ve got a little play area set up for kids between the ages of 14 months up to seven years old

I have been coming here off and on when we visit Starke. The food is excellent! The owner, Seneca, is so personable and friendly. I have never gotten a bad meal here. It is our favorite place to eat!

Vegetarian options: My husband is gluten free and vegan. He has always found good options!

Parking: We usually park on the street or on the side by the theater.

Kid-friendliness: They have an area to the side where kids can play.

Excellent choice for breakfast especially on a Tuesday when most other places seem to be closed. Food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Interesting “take a number” and seat yourself process.
