Fiddler's Restaurant and Resort

Love this little gem. I’ve stayed here twice and never a disappointment. The entire staff was super sweet with all the southern charm. Salad bar and coffee bar are my favorite. We stayed on site and love the water view and the rooms were clean and decorated so adorable. The live music on the both porches was a plus. Had a blast dancing with friends and watching the football game while we ate dinner. It had everything to keep us entertained and coming back for more !

Unbelievable! Incredible food,.. the drinks were made to perfection by Summer, who was also our waitress, and she was great! I Highly recommend Fiddlers!

Rude staff, slow service and overpriced food. Everyone that ate at my table got food poisoning. Place hasn’t been the same since the hurricane. I won’t be returning.

Loved it will be back

I can't tell you anything about the resort itself, but I can tell you the restaurant was excellent. I had the Delmonico steak (which was cooked perfectly) and a loaded potato. Hubby had Shrimp Alfredo. The entrees came with salad bar. Food was delicious, and although pricey, worth the money. I also enjoyed a mango margarita from the bar.

Do not eat here if you have a small party on a busy night. The service was awful. The crab cakes were burned. They ran out of baked potatoes and clam chowder. To top it off, they took 20 minutes to check on us after getting our drinks. Didn’t have enough silverware at the table for our party and also didn’t give enough straws. I know this sounds petty, but it just isn’t worth the price. Everything is expensive and not even good. I highly recommend you go ANYWHERE else.

I did not stay at fiddlers but have eaten at the restaurant 2 out of the 3 days that I have been here. The food has been very good all soups made in house , you can tell. Shrimp tacos tonight with the salad bar and key lime pie to finish it off . CC was the bartender very tentative and spot on . Must stop if you are in town

We celebrated our anniversary in Steinhatchee and stayed at Fiddlers, which came highly recommended by my sister and sister-in-law—and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The hospitality from the staff was outstanding; they made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The manager, Stacey, was absolutely amazing and made us feel like VIP’s!

It felt like home, only better.

We also dined at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, and it was phenomenal. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and we never had to wait for a thing. Every detail was handled with care and efficiency.
We’ll definitely be returning—and recommending Fiddlers to everyone we know!

We were there last night and sat outside where the live band was. It was about 1/4 full and the service was extremely slow.
The food was good and the band was awesome.
Paid our tab, and we got up to dance towards the end of the evening and when we returned to the table our drinks and food had been cleared. Not sure why, but we left hungry and did not get to enjoy our drinks...

Had lunch there Wed.8-20-2025 Limited menu do to restoration in process Had fried shrimp platter which was very good. Prices are in line with other local places my wife had a Philly cheese steak sandwich which was also good as well french fries were the best I have had in a while perfectly seasoned .I would return for lunch again while visiting Steinhatchee area.

Food, delicious, service, great, beautiful atmosphere.Good for family and friends , even business must stop in if you're in the area for sure five stars all day 😀

Crabs, crabs, and more crabs. Great restaurants for family. The outdoor seating area was nice and the band was placing along with enough space for the kiddos to roam around and not bother too many folk!

Service was A+, the server was really good.
I have to point out that the food is aweful, for a seafood restaurant in a seafood community it was pitiful. The shrimp were like a 80-100 shrimp 🍤 which is almost criminal for $30 and you got maybe 12. I would definitely never go back here again for the food.

We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood and the live music here! We will visit again when we return to Steinhatchee.
