Alyssa was our server she was getting off so we got Shay both were very nice and polite food was good the view was amazing
It's a bar and grill the food was excellent not much of a variety. Great service nice little out of the way place
Great service from the dock workers. We had fun on our pontoon rental.
First drink was good, someone spiked my second drink and my boyfriend got accused of drugging me. Nice place but questionable safety?
Appetizers were good. Chicken tacos were very hard to eat. Sodas in very small styrofoam cups. I would rate the service 4 stars.
Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.
Food and drinks were great and at at fair price. Top shelf drinks were only $7 so that was a nice surprise too! Service was friendly and it was one of the only places open on a Monday. Atmosphere was as hoped with seating near the water and good music. We will return for sure!
Great marina. Good customer service and good food. Pontoon boats are a little beat up but that’s expected as they rent them out daily and are kept outside.
Great spot to relax, grab some food and drinks, and watch the boats come and go. They also have live music at certain times, which adds to the fun atmosphere.
We’ve rented boats from here for several years, always opting for a pontoon to accommodate our group’s size and ages. Unfortunately, this year was a bit of a letdown. The boats don’t seem to be well-maintained—our seat and back cushions were torn, poorly patched, and ripped again. Even more frustrating, we had trouble getting the boat started, despite having experienced boaters with us.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we may need to consider other rental options moving forward.
Great time, good music, and good food

Deadman’s Bay and the Steinhatchee Marina represent a relaxed and authentic Old‑Florida experience. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful day on the water, a scallop-fishing adventure, or a friendly marina to dock for the night, you’ll find all that and more. The marina’s modern amenities, high‑quality store, and warm service make it a favorite among boaters traveling the Big Bend. If you’re heading that way, it’s well worth the stop.
Awesome atmosphere, great views of the river and the bay! Everyone is very nice and respectful ! Captains are always around and make you feel welcomed!
I was so excited to come to the steinhatchee marina. We travel from Ohio every year. This is always on my list to come here. I went there today , brought my whole family from Ohio. Daughter son-in-law 2 grandkids, 2 of us and 3 friends. We never got any service we were the 2 hours. Not one person came to take our order. I so sad!!
I just wanted to say thanks for the great service this week. We rented a Tritoon twice and were treated like Royalty both days. Thanks to Victor, Randy, Walt, Azalea, Louis and all the staff for making our experience a great one!
Steinhatchee is where to go if you're craving salty air and the fresh seafood. Lots of scallops, lots of nature, and lots of boats. Mom-and-pop seafood shacks, friendly locals, and a slower pace. Go here to take your boat or grab a charter. They will even shuck the scallops you bring in for $12/pound. Not far from town is the Steinhatchee Falls, and recreation area with small water falls, a swimming area, and 2 hiking trails.
