Vargo's Buffalo Style Pizza

This place was amazing. Right on the water, sweet pizza shop vibes! The owner shared about their loss during Hurricane Helene. He said “we came back stronger” and they may not have their huge deck anymore but y’all the pizza is INCREDIBLE!!! We had regular ole cheese and some salad. HIGHLY recommend when and if you’re in Steinhatchee!

In town for the weekend and stopped into Vargo’s for pizza and wings. Absolutely delicious and authentic Buffalo style. So much so that we ate there the next day to try the Subs. They were also incredibly good - and he makes the sub rolls fresh every day. The owner, Robert, is friendly and his staff did a great job. Restaurant is meticulously clean. The view of the river is spectacular. Will come here every time we are in town.

Sorry but I was not impressed with the pizza, the establishment is very nice, parking is limited, but the employees were very friendly!

food was great - we asked for well done chicken wings and they were done perfectly - subs were delicious- you all have to check it out !!! Highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Food was good. However there was a young gentleman at the counter working by himself when we came in. The person ahead of us made a very very confusing order. I was standing 2 ft away and still wasn't sure what she actually ordered. The young gentleman then took our order and proceeded to the back to prepare orders. At this point an older gentleman came in and started helping in the back. Somehow something got messed up with the orders and the older gentleman started loudly scolding the young man. Saying everything was wrong. Some how our order was never made. We sat there for almost an hour waiting for our food. We watched customers come in ,order and leave with their food. I was quite disappointed considering the reviews were pretty good for this place and the food in the pictures online looked fantastic.

was passing threw n stopped for lunch. owner greeted us immediately very friendly n attentive.. we got wings ( bourban) n the Alfredo chicken pizza. both was amazing. wings are big n sauced just right. the pizza was so fresh n cheesy. absolutely will return. beautiful view while u wait for the food. n seeing the owner story/ pics n heart breaks he went to build back stronger. wish him many years of business.

We were driving one day to go to Keaton Beach we're from Branford I seen the pizza place I asked my husband to swing back around so we can grab some pizza was it not only good it was fantastic the service was great. The second time we came out to Keaton Beach I again wanted to stop for in for pizza however this time I ordered a half a sheet a taco pizza and a large pepperoni pizza by the time I got home have to taco pizza was gone anyways it was that good it was so good that we made a special trip just to come back out here from Branford to get a full sheet taco pizza. If anyone from this day forward ask me hey do you know a great place for pizza I am definitely going to say Vargos it may be a ride but it's well worth it guaranteed, the service the staff the atmosphere and the location may I add or all great.
