Had an absolutely perfect Valentines dinner , our server was Tommy. Great quick service and impeccable food. Tommy convinced us to be adventurous and try the escargot app and caviar on the scallops and we're so glad we did!! Beautiful setting so we wouldn't have minded waiting, but we were sat, had two cocktails, two apps , our entrees and paid in 40 minutes without feeling rushed. Will be back again!!!
Food was great

I truly enjoyed my experience at La Grande Martier! I came here for dinner with my mom and aunt. We were drawn in by the beautiful decor and warm atmosphere. Our waiter was incredibly kind and friendly. The owner of the restaurant was also very friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed an appetizer of the goat cheese croquettes. They were delicious! I ordered the chicken Francais—it was delightful. We truly enjoyed our experience here and will be back! The decor is gorgeous, and they have two bars that are quite popular. I’m glad to have found a new restaurant to frequent!

Stopped in the Speakeasy last night with the family, had the Barrel Rum cocktail and it was fantastic. Bartender was friendly, quick, and we got an awesome history lesson while we there ! Would recommend stopping to see this piece of FL.

We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and vow renewal at La Grande Martier in downtown Stuart, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was wonderful—we never had to go looking for a server because they were always right there, friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and our guests are still raving about it.
I would highly recommend La Grande Martier for dinner, brunch, lunch, or any special event. Michael was incredible to work with and helped us arrange the most memorable anniversary celebration we could have dreamed of. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our day unforgettable!

Tried to spend New Year’s Eve here, Until we got security called on us , because my sisters husband asked for the best margarita ever. The bartender in his tiff explained this is a high traffic holiday, and he had regulars who came 52 weeks a year ( I was impressed he knew how many weeks were in a year ) and how could my husband expect anything better then anyone else??? How about no one expected anything else but a fun quality drink, on New Year’s Eve,by the bartender whose job was to serve the best drinks possible with the already included holiday tax ??
Seriously security, on the party of 3 over 55, with one person drinking Shirley Temples, at $5 a pop. Shame on you. And PS
we are locals and we’ve all been on the other side of that bar…
Obviously won’t be back. The god like complex isn’t endearing.
At the end of the day it could have been a compliment. Asking for a special drink. Imagine doing your job, not sure how this incudes security ??

wow! just wow! This place is amazing! We had a awesome experience on Valentines day and decided to come back on Christmas day this year. 12-25-2025, and they did not disappoint! My husband and father got the Surf n Turf and the peice of prime rib covered the plate it was so big and was melt in your mouth tender. Loved That the lobster was Maine lobster as well. I ordered the Bourbon Salmon and they had run out, but our man Tommy magically fixed that and it was amazing!!!! The spiced hot chocolate drink was a huge hit. Now let me mention our server Tommy, this guy was a hoot. Very ,very personable and made us laugh and made our Christmas dinner extra memorable. Hes a natural people person, ask for him, you won't be disappointed!!! (we love you Tommy) Then there is mike( God I hope I got his name right) he was our prime rib specialist, dang, he got that crust spot on!!!! I dont eat red meat but I ate some of that!!!!! 🤤 The night was truly magical, fun and memorable! Thank you again, Tommy, Mike and staff at cafe Martier for an unforgettable night! We will be back again for sure.
Tonight we had apple pecan salad, goat cheese croquette, bacon jam fried green tomatoes, crab and shrimp cakes, parmesan risotto with truffle oil and some fresh baguettes. There as nothing that we would not happily order and eat again. The food was outstanding. If you are in Stuart, you got to try this place.

Whenever I want to impress a crowd for a special occasion I know I can rely on La Grande Martier to take it to the next level. This was the 3rd business holiday dining event I have coordinated at this location and they never disappoint.
The decor in the hearth room is cozy, classy and unlike any other setting in the area and it really shines during the holidays.
We had a great local pianist playing in the background.
The management and the chef were communicative and accommodating every step of the way. The wait staff were excellent.
Guests were so impressed with the diversity of the menu items and many who had not been here before said they would be coming back to dine again.

We had our first brunch experience this weekend at La Grande Martier and it beyond a doubt exceeded our expectations!! We were so sweetly greeted and sat promptly, with a fantastic live band playing beautifully. We met our servers Jessica and Tommy, whom we had the best time with and they made our experience so incredibly memorable and special! The GUAVA mimosas were our must haves, although all of the purée juices were delicious! They had a brunch special that my husband and I chose, it was a shredded pork bowl to literally die for, seasoned amazing and delicious! All in all, we’re not locals but we’re already planning our next trip to just have brunch there! The cute downtown atmosphere was a perfect Sunday stroll out of a hallmark movie, thank you so much for the wonderful experience, hopefully you get the chance to meet Jessica and Tommy, you’ll love them just as much as we did!

So disappointed in our Thanksgiving dinner, I made reservations, but we still waited 45 minutes for our table, food was just okay with a very limited menu. They charge you extra if you use a credit card, which is automatically added to your bill along with a 20% gratuity, I paid cash for my dinner, as we were leaving the waitress stopped me at my car and said I was $2.00 short ( she forgot to remove the credit card charge) her mistake, but was so embarrassed by the whole issue. Not interested in returning to this establishment.

We have been to Cafe Matier many times with large family groups, and our family of 5, and today most recently, just my wife and I, and our 3rd daughter for her 14th birthday. It was by far the most amazing meals we've had in a very long time. FROM THE NY STRIP cooked to perfection with a melting herbed butter complete with garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly prepared thick asparagus to a LAMB, ANDOUISE SAUSAGE, AND BEEF BOURBON GLAZED MEATLOAF, with garlic mashed potatoes and glazed baby carrots, to a CHICKEN FRANCAISE with fettuccine in a light vevelty butter lemon sauce 😋. The hostess sat us kindly, gently and quickly and Renata (our server) was soft spoken and very good at keeping our drinks filled without asking. She asked my daughter if she would like a dessert because it's free for her birthday. She picked the Key Lime Pie and we just delved into it tonight when we got home. The presentation in every dish tonight was a picture as an edible purple orchid finished off each entree. Ashley delivered the entrees to our table with a smile. I honestly cant say enough great things about Cafe Martier. If you want ambience, history, flavor, and a memory that will not soon be forgotten, take the time to create one at one of the hidden gems in downtown Stuart. Sincerely, Dr Bunk & Family. Ps. THE SAXAPHONE PLAYER created a jazz like vibe tonight and it was awesome!!! We,'ll be back many more times.
