We live about 90 minutes away and decided to try Carson’s Tavern while staying in Stuart. We loved it! The wings and steaks were excellent. They also have a nice selection of draft beer. Our server was very friendly, and the ambience was cool.

We went in for drinks after dinner. The bartender, Chris was very friendly and gave us several good recommendations. The atmosphere is good for a casual drink without being so loud that you can’t talk. I enjoyed the old time Irish pub feel.

Consistently reliable. If it's on the menu, then you can be sure these folks will do it well. We have been coming here for many years and never have been disappointed. Our two most recent visits were a dinner and a lunch. Tried the North Atlantic haddock for the first time for dinner and it was excellent. It was baked with a bread crumb topping. Top quality. Other recent samplings were the chicken croissant, blackened mahi wrap and tavern salad with blackened shrimp. The ingredients are fresh, there is care in the preparation and everything is flavorful and plentiful. The tavern salad is truly special, with artichokes, olives, cucumber, roasted red peppers, feta and topped with onion straws.
