My husband and I did High Tea for Valentine’s Day and it was lovely! The soups (Butternut Squash and Tomato Roasted red pepper soup) were delicious! This was followed by a green salad and then a tiered tray of finger sandwiches and pastries. The cost ($22 a person) was very reasonable and we were both well satisfied with what we ate. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect, ornate and whimsical. It is located within a jewelry store and the owner and staff is friendly and full of wonderful stories of among other things, High Tea with the Queen. Definitely recommend this quaint tea room and will be back to try some of the a la cart dishes!

Never EVER host a tea party here!Note *The High Tea is $28 / person. Our experience today (where do I even start!?)...FOOD: The salad was lettuce (with virtually no dressing) with 1 carrot and soggy canned green beans ontopThe "meat sandwiches" consisted of a SINGLE SLICE of lunch meat on crustless sandwich bread with a tiny bit of mustard (and looked like my 6-year-old cut off the crust)The "Cucumber sandwich" was crustless sandwich bread with a single layer of Cucumber and one tiny layer of mayo.Dessert: WALMART mini cupcakes (the super cheap ones my kids don't even like) & stale sconesFruit: Without question it was the frozen fruit meant for smoothies that was defrosted (meaning it was all mushy and soggy)Tea: They only offered one choice (and the tea wasn't even hot). They had no option for caffeine free and no flavored teas (and didn't even offer us water with our meal)The soup was good (literally the ONLY THING that was good)Atmosphere: Junk laying around EVERYWHERE! Empty boxes, cords, & clutter covered the floor and walls. It was also super dark. I asked if we could turn on the lamps and was told they didn't work. I had to request music be turned on.Service: PoorNote: I'm usually a very positive person (this is actually the only time I've ever left a negative review on Google), but I simply had to share how poor the experience was to prevent others from experiencing the same.

Such a wonderful shop that has been in busy for many many years! The owner is such a delight to talk to and custom makes every piece that is in the shop handmade with care and passion. Wouldn’t take my business anywhere else!

Understaffed. Overbooked for our group of 24. Disappointing sandwiches. Soup, however, was excellent.

This place is in an out-of-the-way, not easy to find industrial area off Old Dixie Highway in Port Salerno. When you first walk in, it is confusing as you don't know if you have entered a pawn shop or jewelry store. To the left is a dining room, with lots of round tables and STUFF everywhere! For an OCD customer like me it was very overwhelming. The tables were loaded as well as the walls. There wasn't an empty space on the wall!! I found the dining area dark and depressing. The walls and carpet are black and since there are no windows in that room, it comes off as oppressive as there isn't any natural light. We ordered High Tea for our party of ten. The whole time we were there at lunch time during the week, there were no other patrons other than a couple of people came in right as we were finishing up. I started out with Iced Peach Tea and it was delicious. The soups are some of the best I have ever had - Butternut Squash with Bacon and Tomato with Cherry Tomatoes (which the server said was spicey and it was NOT -- it was sweet!). The only critique on them is that they are served lukewarm, tepid. Customers want their soup hot! I don't care what Terry's (the owner) former chefs told her about liability issues. The salad was very nice with one of the best homemade dressings (Terry wouldn't tell me what it is even called) I have ever had. The scones, finger sandwiches, mini muffins, cubes of cheese, cookies, petite tarts, etc... came out next on a 3-tiered serving tree. Hot Tea was served in beautiful teapots that sat on a warmer. Terry explained that since there was five at our end of the table, we were each allotted three of everything. I asked what were on the sandwiches and was told that there were three types and that they were ham, cucumber and beef. There were several of us that had to put down our beef sandwiches and NOT finish them as they were LOADED with horseradish and were very hot (spicey)!! All in all the most enjoyable to me was the soup, salad, Lemon Curd jelly and the Peach Iced Tea. For $16.50, the High Tea is a reasonable price, but I just felt that IF I had been alone and served the same High Tea, the amount would have been the same. What we received should have been for 1-2 people and was a stretch for 5 ladies to share. I have had high tea before in the UK and in Stuart and this was NOT the best. Another noticeable thing, is the location of the restroom. You have to walk through the servers' wait station to get to it. I never saw a chef's kitchen and if there is one, it is well hidden. Several Suggestions: Relocate the bathroom; get rid of the carpet; paint the walls a light color; heat the soup; reduce the extensive menu (it's too big!); and tone down the horseradish! I did mention the beef sandwiches to Terry and she responded that the customers like it that way AFTER I told her that several of us couldn't eat them! I guess she's never heard the saying, "The customer is always right even when they are wrong." Also, what's up with a pawn shop/jewelry store in the front of the house?? I would get rid of that and put the dining room there and maybe a chef's kitchen in the space of the present dining room? I don't know -- just a very confusing layout and design.

Very disappointing! They didn't have milk for the tea. The waitress said they have 31 different types of tea but didn't have a list, could only remember about seven. Much of the food was from Costco or Publix. Some was inedible. Decor features black ceiling and black walls and was very gloomy. Overall, a horrible experience. The waitress was very pleasant but the owner needs a lesson in how to greet customers.

The food was NOT traditional English afternoon tea. I lived in England for 30 years. The place is oddly decorated with black walls and curtains and drapes closed making it extremely dark. The owner was friendly but the food was a combination of the mini white frosted Publix cupcakes with sprinkles, to Danish butter cookies. The sandwiches were on white bread that looked like it was cute from a jagged knife. A bean salad was served, which has nothing whatsoever to do with afternoon tea. The tea was rather weak but kept hot by placing the ceramic/porcelain teapot on a type of mini candle burner. I was incredibly disappointed. The place has a lot of lady bug paraphernalia and throw rugs. You enter via a diamond shop which has stuffed animals on a bench.

Went in thinking I was going to find your standard coffee joint but was pleasantly surprised to see an extremely eclectic decor with all the accommodations of a fine restaurant from beautiful China to linen table cloths. It is combined with a jewelry store with original pieces and other unique items curated by the owner who has been there 25 years. I went in for a cup of tea and a coffee, came out with my jewelry cleaned and appraised free and the drinks on the house! Great atmosphere and vibes, definitely going back to spend some more time there.

I inherited a nice "Diamonds by Terry" wrist watch which needed a battery. Terry had a battery put in at no charge.
