Ellie's Downtown Deli & Catering

We had them cater our 50th wedding anniversary party with 40 people. We had a sit-down dinner of asiago chicken and prime rib, with appetizers and desert. The plaiting was flawless. The food was perfect in every way and we had several compliments for both choices. The servers and the chef could not have been more friendly, professional and accommodating as the evening progressed. They were on time and well prepared right from the beginning. The team left the kitchen and all the rented plates/flatware in just perfect order. I would recommend Ellie's Deli for any event of any size, they were just amazing. Let me not forget to mention Taylor, whom helped up plan this event from beginning to end. Thank you all for making our party such a huge success!

We chose Ellie’s to cater our wedding at Kai Kai Farm, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Chef Mark and his assistant, Taylor, collaborated with us to create a menu perfectly suited to our venue. Chef Mark incorporated fresh produce from Kai Kai Farm, giving our guests an unforgettable farm-to-table experience. The food was incredible—restaurant-quality rather than typical wedding fare—and our guests couldn’t stop going back for seconds. Ellie’s also handled the alcohol pickup, which was a huge help to us. We especially loved the Italian crostinis and the prime rib, both of which were absolute standouts. The team at Ellie’s played a big part in making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be.

Ellie’s Deli catered a 90th birthday celebration for my father. The entire process from setting up to cleaning up was outstanding. The food - absolutely delicious. Everyone throughly enjoyed it. Thank you Ellie’s Deli for helping to make the day special.

I recently used Ellie's Downtown Deli and Catering to cater a luncheon following a memorial mass for my parents. The overall process was incredibly smooth (Taylor and Chef Mark did a great job explaining my options and putting together a quote) and the food provided on the day of was exceptional. I was able to include the assistance of a server, who covered setup, cleanup and helped during the luncheon and it allowed us to enjoy the event, rather than focus on anything else. I received many compliments on the food and was happy to reap the benefit of also enjoying the leftovers the next day. I highly recommend considering Ellie's for your next event. Big or small, they put thought into your consultation, are top knotch at responding and communicating leading up to the event and deliver 10/10 on what they commit to on the day of. Do yourself a favor and take it off of your "plate" and put it into theirs. You won't be disappointed.

Food was totally meh. Maybe old people like it. Staff was horrible. The inept little girl who cannot communicate in a basic fashion and the angry boy in the kitchen who likes to throw food at customers ensures I'll NEVER be back. Other customers there at the same time were having problems because their orders were totally wrong. So much for supporting a local business! Terrible people. Oh and don't ask for a receipt for your food - they're really annoyed by that. Edit: owner is a small man of poor character with anger issues. I hope his family is safe. :(

Great food but they touch your meat and cheese without gloves, they only wear one glove on one hand and I witnessed them grab every meat for the sandwich without the gloves, kind of gross in my opinion

It’s a 50/50 shot you will get old meat for the sandwhiches. I usually get roast beef , sometimes it’s fresh sometimes it’s grey and has an awful odor to it.

I placed a large order with them and when the food was delivered, we were missing several items. I called right away only to be greeted by a rude guy with an attitude who told me I would need to pick up the missing items. It was a delivery order so why would I have to pick up the items they missed. Makes no sense to me. I also requested the food to be delivered around 1pm since that’s our lunch time and it was delivered 45 minutes early. That would be okay if it was cold food but it’s hot sandwiches which will cold before we get to eat them.
