Amazing find. Not sure why the treasure coast has so many restaurants that don't even have more than a cheese pizza for vegetarians. This place is our new #1 for our annual Hutchison island vacay. (2 adults, 2 tween girls)

My father was in the hospital nearby and this was not only convenient but it was also outstanding. I visited at least once a day and all items were fantastic. I highly recommend Fruits and Roots.

The place was beautiful, the staff were so kind and the food was..... oh my goodness!!! I got the French dip with a side of the wedge potatoes. It was so delicious !! Definitely going back soon !

Stopped in for lunch today. My fiancé and I just started our vegan journey and the server was VERY helpful with all our silly questions!! We tried a lot of different things. My favorite was the broccoli and bang bang sauce. HIGHLY recommend this place. Great place, very clean, good music. GREAT experience. We will definitely take the drive from Vero Beach to go again. Everything is also reasonably priced !
We were just passing through the area and luckily found Fruits and Roots when we were looking for a place for lunch. I had the Asian noodle bowl and loved it - it hit the spot with fresh veggies, rice noodles and a delicious miso dressing. My husband really enjoyed the pesto grilled cheese. Overall, VERY happy with our meal and would highly recommend!

Amazing indoor/outdoor spot with parking, super friendly staff and owners. Superb menu, organic, vegan, healthy, tasty food that you'll crave for more and more. Love this cafe!!! Not to be missed!

Wow!! Best vegan food ever - everything was so good , juices and smoothies are really the best I ever had!! A little expensive though - be prepared to spend some $$ but it is so worth it ?❤️❤️❤️

Wheelchair accessibility: You can get a wheelchair in but someone has to hold the door. There is usually someone st the counter.
Smoothie was delicious and decent sized, black bean burger was absolutely not worth the price. Overall food was tasty but 3 stars because it’s unbelievably overpriced!

My wife and I loved Fruit and Roots. It was our favorite vegan restaurant, driving up from Jupiter. We decided to drive up for lunch for their bacon burgers and found the menu had been changed which was very disappointing along with a whole new staff. I ordered the burger any way. I tried to order it the way I was used to with the sweet potato fries and when it came it was unrecognizable and the taste and flavor of the fries and the burger were very disappointing to say the least. The burger was, cold and couldn’t be eaten. One bite was all I could stand!
Maybe it was a off day for the kitchen. My wife and and I will give it one more shot in a couple of weeks, but my favorite burger looks to be gone forever,

Imagine going to a restaurant and asking for a breadless sandwich and instead of getting the fixings, they’re like “our sandwich is garbage without it” and “we did that once and someone got mad so now we don’t do it again” and “we don’t care that you’re vegan, you’re entitled for asking”
Any restaurant that calls a customer ENTITLED for asking for something removed instead of just saying “we’re so sorry, no” is out of their minds.
And say what you will, I know how customers can be and I know what it’s like to be absolutely at your wits end with requests, but it comes with the job to have patience and kindness while running a business. No one was being irate or rude or audacious in any way. I’m absolutely stunned at the behavior of the owner who runs their social media.

This place is so good I can’t wait to go back!! I loved the Smokey sweet Sammie w Mac and cheese and my girlfriend got the smash burger w potato wedges which was also delicious. Our server was really nice and the outdoor seating was cute.
