I called to ask about a short notice table for nine. Was pleasantly encouraged to come right over. We arrived to a table that was all set for us.The owner chose the perfect wine for us. Everyone commented that their food was excellent. Oh, did I mention that six of us were important customers that we wanted to show thanks to? Well thanks to Griffins Surf & Turf, that was a success — thanks to everyone at Griffins!!

This was a restaurant I found when trying to make Valentines Day plans. The reviews looked good and the pictures of the food even better I took a chance and called for reservations and confirmed they would not be limiting their menu like most other places do on Valentines Day I booked the first time slot of 5. We arrived and were greeted by the family who owned the establishment and were sat at a nice table at the window to the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer and each chose a filet mignon meal. All the food that was brought out was so delicious and I am a huge fan of their steak which had been cooked perfectly to medium and had a perfect char on both sides. The meal was too much at the time so we did order dessert to go which was amazing as a treat later after we got back home. Thank you so much for a great meal and know that I am talking your business up to everyone that I know! Thanks, Chris

Amazing experience. The food quality and craftsmanship into our dinner was unmatched in any restaurant we have been in in the area. Tommy and Carly are genuine and one-of-a-kind. And their food exemplifies greatness.

Don't let the strip mall location fool you. The food was amazing around the table. Most of the dishes came with sides, but we still enjoyed some crafty appetizers. The "surf and turf" emphasis is very flexible (and there are several pastas on the menu too- just flip the menu over...). Overall, it was a great meal and we will be back!

I can't say enough good things about this place!!I wish I knew sooner about how INCREDIBLY delicious this place is! The owners are so kind, and every single thing they make is made from scratch. Right down to the croutons on the salad (which I never thought a crouton would impress me - but I stand corrected ?)You can taste the love and thought they put into each dish - I can't even say which part was my favorite because from the steak, to the seafood risotto, to the fish dip - it was all crafted perfectly ?This place is a MUST try (It's also a beautiful place for a date night too) - small businesses like this truly add to the charm of our town! You will not regret dining here!!

We went here for our anniversary last night. It was our first time here. I had chicken and donuts and my husband had steak. The food was amazing and so was Carly. We will definitely be back.

First time dining here and it won't be our last! From the minute we walked in the service was top notch. We made easy reservations online and we're seated on time. The server was very knowledgeable and recommended some wine choices that were excellent. The food was delicious, hot and all homemade. We really enjoyed Griffins and can't wait to go back again!

Absolutely phenomenal food. The same couple that created Mrs. Peters Smoked Dips and sold it to Boars Head, opened this great steak house. You actually meet the founders who are so passionate about food that rather than retire on their windfall, their enjoyment of creating fantastic food got to them. You cannot beat it - now my favorite place, tie with Gettin Crabby

We were in town looking for a nice place to eat. So we saw Griffins and the reviews were good so we tried it. The food was good, my girl had filet mignon Medallions with Mac and cheese very good. I had scallops with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes also very good. We had wine by the glass, it was a little limited by the glass, but we both found some we liked. The surprise at the end when we received the bill one price for cash and one price for credit card. We had never seen this, I asked if debit was the same as cash and they said no it's all the same. The difference was about 4% between cash and credit card. My suggestion is to have ATM on site if people want pay in cash and save 4%. Otherwise a good place to eat.

I would give this restaurant 5 more stars if I could! We had an anniversary dinner here for my parents and the food was absolutely delicious and the service was personable. We had a party of 11 people. The owner was our server and immediately upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and inviting experience. The homemade food was so so good. I recommend trying the mahi mahi appetizer dip! This is their original recipe.A few of us ordered their cowboy steak which was amazing! We also had some burgers, the meatloaf (delicious!), the fresh catch of the day (which was prepared perfectly) and their apple pie a la mode. Everyone’s meal exceeded expectations and the wine selection was great.Thank you for great service and a delicious meal from appetizer through to dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant.

What a fantastic hidden gem!! The hospitality of the staff makes it feel like you are having dinner over someone's home. The food was delicious and everything was very fresh. Was quite glad we chose to eat here and will again if back in the area!

We were kindly greeted on a Friday evening with no reservations. The owner was super friendly and Heather our server made awesome recommendations. The house Pinot Grigio was very good with the price to match. The lobster bites were stellar!! Although we did not order the cowboy special we did over hear diners who did say it was delicious. We look forward to trying it out our next visit. I had the cod sandwich. Although fried it was not greasy. We didn't have room for desert but our visit did whet our appetite for a quick return. Perhaps with a group so all could taste the goodness. Plenty of parking. They don't serve hard liquor. Nice vibe - for date night or a group of friends.

We dined on a Saturday night with another couple. First time here. We were all pleased that the experience matched the positive reviews! Our server was very attentive and provided great feedback and recommendations. She did say she was the only server on that night and was also playing hostess, seating people as they came in. I was surprised we were the only table when we arrived for our 6 PM reservation. We took our time, leaving after 7:30 PM, and there were only two other tables the whole time, which was disappointing. This place should have more customers, for sure. We had also hoped to enjoy the live piano music, being that it was Saturday night, but there wasn't any. Three of us enjoyed Pinot Grigio and my husband had the Bourbon Beer on tap, which was delicious. Oh well, on to the reason we came -- the food! Although we had ample entrees coming, I couldn't resist the cream of mushroom soup (a favorite), and it did not disappoint. Creamy, hot and fresh, and you could taste the sherry. My husband and I ordered the Cowboy Steak special to split, which came with a Caesar salad for each of us and three (!) sides. We chose the sautéed spinach, mashed potatoes and onion strings. Everything was terrific, including the flavorful steak, cooked just right and sliced for us by the chef. Our table mates ordered the meatloaf and the scallops appetizer and reported that both were delicious. For dessert, each couple split the creme brûlée, which was tasty but nothing extraordinary (no added fruit or garnish). Needless to say, we left more than satisfied and will definitely return! The only reason I took away 1 star is because no live music as expected and the atmosphere was a bit disappointing. But the food and service were on point.
