Kazu has been great in the past. Not sure what is going on, but the sushi wasn’t great. The real california roll made with real crab had bits of shells and the vegy roll was almost all rice with little else. The overall taste was also somewhat bland as if the ingredients were not fresh.

I’ve been going to Kazu for YEARS. Under the new management, the new menu options give you significantly less food for MORE money. Not too long ago, the “Salmon Box” gave you three pieces of salmon sushi, six pieces of sashimi, a salmon in cucumber roll, a salmon roll, AND a spicy salmon hand roll for $29. Now, the “Salmon Lover” option gets you three pieces of sushi, three pieces of sashimi, and one spicy salmon roll for $32. The Salmon Box was one of my favorite dinners in Stuart. I’m devastated to see that it’s gone, and has been replaced with a more expensive version that offers you so much less. One of the first pictures that pops up on Google when you search “Kazu” was the original Salmon Box. I’m sorry to say that it’s no longer available! Hopefully they bring it back at the same price one day.

this place isn’t what it used to be, the ingredients of the rolls are different. the quality was not good especially for the price. this used to be the best spot for sushi in stuart and it tastes like fast food.

They have bluefin tuna!!! and it is super tasty!

Food was delicious. Sushi was extremely fresh and presented beautifully. Some of the best sushi we have ever had. Cooked dishes were excellently spiced. Salmon teriyaki dish was notably delicious. We will be back very soon.

Sad what has happened to this place. Used to be my go to for sushi. The new owners have come in changing everything around, and doubling the prices for the same product putting them in line with the higher-end sushi spots down south that have a much higher quality of fish. If it was up to par with the high end places then I would tell them to charge even more! But it’s not. I have been eating here since Kazu originally opened their doors. Upsetting to say my bi-weekly uber eats orders will be stopping until they come back to reality. Is the sushi good? Yes it is, but its not up to the quality of their new pricing (coming from a sushi advocate that drives from here to Miami for good food, and has tried most of the well known places). Stuart needs a high end sushi place, but for now if you are okay with these prices there are some great choices a bit further south.

Outstanding sushi! So fresh. Please have a QR code available so we can tip your sushi chef. I did not have cash to tip them separately and I felt bad that the tips are not divided equally.

In my six years living in port san lucie, I never had such an amazing sushi, Kazu is my every day to go for sushi now 😋. Not just the sushi is amazing, but the owner and his family are amazing Host welcoming me with a smile. Especially their two daughter the little one made my day ☺️, thank you. I can't wait to go again.
