My coworker was the one who told me about this place. He encouraged me to try this place out and he even hyped me up with his description of the portion size and authentic southern style food that they serve. I decided that I was going to walk in and see what’s what. I was apprehensive after looking at the menu prices. However, against my own judgement I went ahead and bought a chicken tender sandwich, which also came with a side. I chose mac n cheese for my “premium” side which to buy alone would be $6. Perhaps you would get more if that is a family meal. My meal with one side and no drink came to be $16. I have to admit that when I received my meal to go I could tell by just the weight of the bag that I was going to be very disappointed. I took a picture to show the amount. I do not agree with my coworker when it comes to the amount of food you get. I’m sorry to say that this is the only time that I’ll eat here. I work hard for my money and I don’t see the value here. The people are nice and the atmosphere is as well ; however the food is in my opinion just ok. I think that the price is inflated for the food you get. For reference sake a chick fila chicken sandwich is like $5.95 for the delux sandwhich. A chicken sandwhich meal with a drink and the same amount of Mac n cheese is $11.41 at chick fila. Now I’m only using that as a reference. If I wanted a chicken sandwhich I would have gone there, but I came here to try them out and the price of the sandwhich was the cheapest thing on the menu that I saw off hand. I wanted to see the sides amount and to taste the food. All in all this is just my opinion. Take that as it is. You can make your own decision. Try them out and come to your own conclusion I try to be fair in my reviews and honest. I don’t know the owners or have any other reason other than my experience, to come to my conclusion. Thank you.

We’re working a couple doors down and we went over there to have lunch. I had the fried chicken I was excellent coleslaw was to die for it was unbelievably delicious and I personally had the lima beans and they were seasoned in such a way that they tasted like they were homemade, had the pork sandwiches with coleslaw and they said the sandwiches were excellent if you like fried chicken and what they have on the menu you got to try this place out

Found Kinfolks while in the area and in need of a quick lunch. The food was made fresh and everything was delicious. The chicken (both boneless and bone-in) was breaded and fried perfectly. The side dishes we ordered (fries, Mac and cheese, and candied yams) were exactly what you would want and expect from a southern style restaurant. The staff was also kind and efficient. We don't live in the area but will definitely be back just for this place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Kinfolks last night. The fried chicken and collards were world class. This restaurant deserves to flourish. Hopefully, Stuart residents will embrace them and help them grow. I regret not trying everything on the menu. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit.

We usually like everything about Kinfolks however the cornbread we received tonight was completely inedible. You couldn't even unwrap it without paper sticking. You could also hammer in a nail with it. It is clearly different from previous takeout. Please go back to original or we will not return.

Yummy! We read a review on social media about the Best Southern Food in the area and they weren't kidding. In a simple, comfortable setting we were greeted by our server, Tina, who was super pleasant. My husband ordered the half fried chicken, potato salad( definitely homemade ) and mac and cheese. I had the fried pork chop, mash potatoes, collard greens and candied yams. Everything was delicious! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Pork chop also very good, but the chicken was the best! This little place is now our go to place for Southern food. And they have Fried chicken buckets to go...love that!

We have gone to this restaurant twice and had the fried chicken candied yams cole slaw and Mac and cheese. It is by far the best fried chicken anywhere around! It's fresh out of the fryer and is so crispy and delicious! Just like my mother used to make. The server is always so nice! don't expect fancy but do expect great food.

What an unexpected pleasure! We had just arrived in Stuart for a few days stay and had errands to run. Kinfolks Southern Kitchen was in the same area as the stores we shopped in and we were hungry, so we figured 'what the heck', although neither of us ever eats fried chicken. The first thing I commented on was how spotless it was. We both decided on fried chicken with sides. Since that was their specialty, we figured they couldn't mess it up. It was excellent! The chicken breast was juicy and tender with a crunchy but light breading. My husband ate every bite, and I brought home my leftovers to enjoy a second time. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Terrible service. We were one of three tables on what seemed to be an extremely slow Friday night, now I know why. If a local restaurant it dead during season on a Friday night at dinnertime, this should be a dead giveaway that it's going to be bad.We asked for ranch for our okra and it wasn't brought until after we were done eating it. Drinks didn't come until after our appetizer was finished. Asked for extra napkins because the food is messy, she never brought them, no refills for the extremely small glasses of iced tea.Had to finally walk up to the counter to pay because the server never came back. The food was "average", nothing notable, definitely not worth enduring the poor customer service to try it again.
