OUTSTANDING Catering!!!La Forchetta has been one of our FAVORITE local restaurants for many years. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the Staff treats you like you are family, visiting your Italian Grandmother for Sunday Dinner! So, when we decided to celebrate milestone events, (30th Wedding Anniversary and 60th & 70th Birthdays) we asked our favorite eatery to cater the event. This was our first time throwing a party of this size and we had no idea of what, or how much to order. Rosalie made many helpful suggestions and the entire Staff of La Forchetta was wonderful to work with. On the day of our event, the food was delivered perfectly on time, and all the suggested food selections traveled excellently well. The appetizers, shrimp cocktail platter, cheese platters and dessert cookie platters were not only delicious but were also beautiful works of art! All our guests complimented us on the food and wanted to know where it came from. Although many of our guests had heard of La Forchetta, and knew it as, “The Italian place by Halpatiokee Park” most did not know they provided catering, and a few who had not been to the restaurant are planning to try it for dinner. We cannot thank Rosalie and the Staff of La Forchetta enough for the delicious food and service they provided to help make our event such a success. We would highly recommend anyone thinking about catering an event to seriously consider La Forchetta!

On this day I was pressing for time, decided to order over the phone and a lady named Rosalia answered the phone very warm and decided to custom order my pizza in a way that would save me money and I found that very kind. Not knowing the waiting time ,I'll order as I was driving. When arriving I talked to the order pick-up counter attendant and she was very kind and said another 20-25 minutes. RIght after, Rosalia approached and asked me if I've been help and discovered that was me she said, oh you here already and I said yes I was driving but no worries I'll wait. I've been there a few times before to dine in but never ordered before. She offered me a glass of wine while waiting and I accepted and told me a bit about the family business and her daughter Francesca and her son working there and I was so welcomed and warm by their attention and talking to other customers while waiting so, when my pizza came, it was handed to me and I walked out of there not realizing that I haven't paid for my pizza. I didn't discovered this until the next morning when it occurred to me that I totally forgot. I felt so bad but went back the next day after work, asked for Francesca and she was so warm and kind and I was able to pay and let her know to apologize to her mom and to the order pick-up counter attendant for me. I will not only continue to go to dine in and order take out because of their delicious pizza, salads, pasta, wine selection but their service is remarkable and I'll encourage anyone looking for a hidden gem making authentic Italian food to give La Forchetta a try , you won't be disappointed.

Emailed the night before asking if they take reservations and if so could we get a reservation at 5:30 pm. No reply we show up and told they do not take reservations by email rather rudely. We take a table outside and get served water 20 minutes no contact with staff. Complained to manager when he walked by and he was totally rude. We left without eating

Went on VDay without a reservation and was able to grab 2 seats at the counter/bar area. Not really a bar but comfy counter space (about 6 seats there). We were accomodated and given a friendly welcome. Appetizer (octopus w/ butter beans and tomatoes) was delicous. Two excellent dinners, the salmon over a generous portion of spinach was cooked perfect. The speciality lambchops (pistachio crusted) were well worth the wait, juicy and tender! We shared a bottle of house Pinot Noir, great price and very smooth. It was fun watching the staff interact, they portray a fun, interactive, & hard working group. The owners blend in with the staff, meaning they are all hands on. This visit was special, one of the best experiences we have had in a restaurant in quite some time. Who woulda thunk on VDay without a reservation!? Thank you La Forchetta, we will see you soon again.
5 stars all around. Made a reservation online. We were greeted and seated right away. We immediately saw and felt the outstanding atmosphere. We had great service and the food was amazing!!! Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you.

This family run restaurant offers great italian food & excellent service. Our server, Natalia, was excellent - very friendly & knowledgeable about the food & menu choices. homemade cheesecake was worth very calorie. You need a reservation, but it's definitely worth it. Pasta was al dente & the seafood was cooked perfectly.

I stopped in here today for dinner and I have to say, this was some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a while, and that’s a lot to say as my entire family is from Italy.Not only that, but the women I spoke with, Rose , was very cordial and nice to talk to as we discussed growing up in Italian families.I’ll be back again.
