Nostalgia Italian Greek Kouzina

Considering the name, there are very few fish choices. I would think that snapper or grouper would be on the menu, but only cod, tuna, mahi, trout, salmon and shrimp are on the menu. They have mussels on the menu, but at 6pm they were sold out. Back dining room was very noisy, warm & stuffy. We asked the server and the hostess to turn up the A/C without any result. Happy Hour drink prices are a savings and a consolation, but there’s no reason otherwise to return.

Service was attentive. Food was good, but not exceptional compared to other Kyle G locations. We sat outside and the band playing the at brew pub next door unfortunately overwhelms any quiet ambiance. So you either deal with a VERY LOUD interior or VERY LOUD exterior. Parking is also abysmal. Did anyone do due diligence on the location?

First experience in this 2 weeks old restaurant was very pleasant, from the valet parking to the manager taking the time to come and chat with us. But most of all, Nicole serves us as a professional. Accurate food and excellent recommendations. Again, no rush, took the time to chat.
The food was excellent. We do not appreciate the quantity ..
The pasta with shrimps and livatmter excellent, Mahi mahi with lemon butter, excellent. We did ask when there will be a catch of the day on the menu?
Lived the idea to scan the choice of oysters and the description of each of the ones available that day. Great feature. The vana dessert was excellent, the cake was not necessary and distracts from the delicate serving flame.

Our service tonight with Colleen was excellent. She is very personable and eager to please. Our dinner was delicious as usual. I had spanakopita and grilled octopus, my husband had moussaka with angel hair pasta and pasta Fagioli soup. He ended his meal with Baklava, his favorite. We had a white cosmo and a glass of rose. We love eating here because of the authentic Greek menu. We are sad to see Nostalgia being replaced by another type of cuisine. I hope some of the old favorites, grilled Octopus, spanakopita, saganaki and moussaka can be seamlessly placed on a menu at one of Kyle’s’ other restaurant locations.

My husband, my 3 kids and I decided to have dinner here since it was our first time being all together in a few years and Nostalgia was the only Kyle g’s restaurant we hadn’t tried, we had an AMAZING night, our server Diana came up to our table with the nicest smile which she kept the entire time, the 5 of us had a few drinks and some appetizers to start and they were perfect, espresso martinis were delicious and Diana suggested we tried the spanakopita and saganaki which were perfect to start our Greek dinner experience, main course was cooked, presented and served to perfection, everything our waitress suggested was delicious since we didn’t know much about the menu, from drinks to dessert we loved everything…. We were very sad to hear the place is closing since we had such an amazing time but we also LOVE OYSTER AND WINE in PSL.. SO that being said we will definitely be back….

I am heartbroken. I travel from Ft Myers to dine at Nostalgia. It's a shame that the Kyle G family doesn't care about what the people want and only about thinking that they'll be the coolest on the block. And they won't. And this isn't coming from a 70 year-old that doesn't like change....this is coming from a 46 year old that thinks it ridiculous that Nostalgia is PACKED nightly, in and our of season, because the people love the food. You should have left it with the old Owners. This is honestly a travesty.

We were last minute kind of end of the day wanting to get dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. We always get the saganaki and I always get sangria with my clam linguine. Amazing every time. Tonight was the best our waitress Colleen was super sweet and kind person. Thank you for a great experience again and again

My husband and I just ate there and were overwhelmed by a horrible smell. The food is ok (basic) but the atmosphere is deadly—brown-painted walls and ugly framed prints like they were bought on clearance at Home Goods in the 90s. We were put in a back dining room with a tv, like we are diners that don’t count. If only they knew! And the smell of this restaurant! Sewage? Rotten food? Rats? Disgusting.
