Really enjoyed this place. Food was delicious - fried shrimp best ever. Pleasant waterside outdoor balcony table. Stephanie was a great waitress.
Enjoyed a nice meal with friends. Restaurant was floridian, bright with tablecloths. Ate indoors as it was stormy out. Food, Seafood Fra Diavolo and Baked Seafood Platter were exceptional.
What you see is what you get. Fabulous location, fun atmosphere. Decent food When very busy, service suffers as expected
Three of us dined at Pirates Cove and the Appetizers and dinners were excellent. Service was attentive but not hovering and the waitress was very sweet. We had the Calamari appetizer, Mahi Rockafeller, Fried Oysters and Shrimp dinners. All were excellent and were served hot and delicious. Love the atmosphere perched above Manatee Pocket waterway. Also an excellent value, not overpriced as some local FL restaurants tend to be any more.
Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Stefanie taking the best care of us! Highly recommend Pirate’s Cove Grouper tacos!
we had 6;30 reservations for outside. table. we got there early, checked in with the hostess and went to the bar area to wait. When we were at the bar at 6;50 the wife went to the hostess to be seated. We were taken inside and told there was nothing outside. This was not correct. We sat for close to 2o mins.before I flagged down another waitress so we could be served. The service was terrible. never received water or bread, which we order, took 10 mins to get a drink re filled and then the wrong order came out. I order chicken Marsala and instead I got chicken piccata. At this point, enough was enough. We paid our bill and left.We were so looking forward to the restaurant,as it sat on a marina over looking the boats. very dis appointed. will not return
This review is for a The Pirate's Loft of the past. For years we enjoyed live music and dancing in The Loft bar area. The place was always packed on Saturday nights. But that changed a year or two ago. No more live music. No dancing. Sometimes there's a deejay playing music that isn't our 'style'. Maybe a private party or two. But no more bands, no dancing. Sad to see this once-hot spot fade away.

What a great little place! Stopped by The Loft with my two son's one day after a day at the park and it was amazing! Everyone greeted us right away and they were very welcoming. Madison was our server and I can not say enough good things about her. She was very attentive and super friendly. The food was on point and so was the drink! We truly enjoyed our lunch here. Thanks to everyone at The Loft, keep up the great work!

Our server, Lauren, was the very best. She knows the menu and is extremely helpful. Always cheerful and happy to help. Her service is impeccable. Always ask for her because she is exceptional.

Glad I came across this spot, it has an awesome little boutique resort attached to it. The grounds are beautiful and properly maintained. The other day was the first time I’ve eaten at the restaurant as an adult and I was blown away! My aunt and I ordered a pizza with onions and sausage (medium sized 8 slice pie) and an order of doz. Wine/Butter soaked clams to split, along with 4 happy hour cocktails total was $75! Foood was amazing service was fast server was awesome and knowledgeable. Great spot great views

The resort was excellent! From Mary at the counter, to housekeeping, to the restaurant, food, and staff outside and inside. I enjoyed lunch, dinner and breakfast.
