Having visited the Elliot museum in Stuart we wanted some lunch and as there was no cafe open at the museum we drove into town and found a parking spot in the street. Nearby we found Maria’s cafe and sat outside. It wasn’t busy as it was Monday, a friendly server brought menus and we chose drinks whilst we looked at the food choices. We chose a tuna sandwich, BLT and a Turkey club. The food came quickly and was good. The cafe was closing so we paid our bill but were able to remain seated outside until we were ready to leave.

I had the patty melt with fries at Maria’s Cafe, and it was excellent! The patty melt was delicious, and the fries were hot and crispy. Our waitress, Angie, was incredibly personable and friendly, making the experience even better. Even the friendly busser, Marquis, added to the enjoyment by kindly refilling my cup with ice and water to go. I’ll definitely be back!
