I have been enjoying Mario’s since I was a teenager. The food is always great and they always treat you like family. Give them a try. One of the best Italian restaurants in town.

Mario’s is my favorite Italian restaurant on the Treasure Coast. The food is delicious and always consistent. It’s family owned and it shows plus service is great. Your meal starts with garlic bread and pizza bread always fresh and yummy! My favorite is the Veal Parmigiana they give you plenty I always have leftovers. My husband and I have tried other Italian restaurant however, none as good as Mario’s!!!!

1st time. The house salad was one of the best Ive had. Homeade dressing! They take pride in what they do! I also enjoyed my Penne Ala Vodka with Prosuitto. Huge portions! I will save room for dessert next time

Literally feel like family here. Food was absolutely amazing and very generous portions. Place filled up quick after we sat down and not one staff member skipped a beat. Everyone at our table was loving every bite of their meals. My only complaint is the booths are uncomfortable and tight. I'm over 6' and definitely should have sat at a table. Just a note for anyone tall. Definitely one of the best meals on my trip.

Disappointing Experience All Around

We’re new to the area and decided to try a random local restaurant we found on Google. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst Italian dining experience we've ever had.

The restaurant was uncomfortably warm inside, making it hard to enjoy our meal. Our server was inattentive, and at one point, we overheard staff arguing loudly in the kitchen, which didn’t help the already awkward atmosphere.

We started with the garlic rolls, which were inedible. They had no garlic or olive oil—just a tough roll with some melted cheese on top. We sent them back.

I ordered Chicken Francaise, a dish I’m very familiar with as someone of Italian heritage. What I received was completely unrecognizable—drenched in a reddish sauce with minced vegetables, and oddly tasted more like Chicken Marsala. When I asked the waitress, she insisted it was Chicken Francaise, but it definitely was not.

My husband ordered a basic pizza, which should be hard to mess up. Somehow, it was. It was bland, lacked seasoning, and had almost no flavor.

To top it off, our total came to $60 for food and drinks—a complete waste given the poor quality of the meal.

An additional awkward moment came when an elderly woman (possibly an owner or manager?) approached our table and repeatedly asked if we knew someone she was referencing. Despite politely saying no, she continued the conversation and made us feel even more uncomfortable.

Overall, this place had the worst combination of food, service, and atmosphere. I genuinely don’t understand how it has been rated #1 in Stuart. We will not be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

It was great. Authentic Italian meal. Brought back. A lot of memories and I loved every bite.

After over 20 years, I have to give a very poor review. The food tasted good, but it had been microwaved. It came out steaming, but it was lukewarm within a minute. Same with rolls & pizza pieces. Staff was not attentive; they stood in the back & talked to each other. No one came to ask how our meals were. I brought most of mine home to heat for supper tonight. DISAPPOINTED

My wife had the Veal and Eggplant...I had the Penne Ala Vodka. Pasta was perfect Al Dente and the bread they give is absolutely amazing. Service was wonderful. A little pricey, but you get what pay for. Food is authentic. Definately going back. 5 stars!!
