We just ate at the “new” Nostalgia Greek Taverna. Having lived in Greece for four years and been married to a Greek for almost 50 years, this place is really good. Greek cuisine in Greece is flavorful and fresh, but it also has a “clean” quality that only a good chef and good olive oil can provide. Nostalgia has that and more. Nostalgia Greek Taverna is a delicious Greek restaurant with a super friendly and inviting vibe. The food is fantastic and amazing, with generous portions for a fair and very reasonable price. Dishes like the chicken souvlaki, with huge chunks of perfectly seasoned and grilled breast meat, and the Greek potatoes are perfect in every way. The avgolemono soup is noted as the best ever had. Everything is served at the right temperature.
The service is outstanding, attentive, personable, helpful, fast, and super friendly. The staff and owner are extremely helpful and professional, handling both small and large groups calmly while going above and beyond. This has made it a regular dining experience for many, who highly recommend it to family and friends. The restaurant also offers lots of gluten-free items clearly indicated on the menu. It is considered probably the best dining experience in a while.
