I was very excited to have a Cuban restaurant close to home. Was very disappointed overall! Very expensive for the quality of food. And it’s a walk up to the counter and order, and walk back up and get it when it’s ready. Staff was very friendly and nice. I ordered the Cuban Thing sandwich, two ham croquettes, and a colada, as well as a guava and cheese pastry. $27 before tip @ the counter. I watched the young lady make the colada, she made it wrong. I worked a lot of years...
What we had was great, flavorful pork and ham in the Cubano. Loved the addition of the green mojo sauce on the plantain chips and as a dip for the empanadas and croquettes. The only thing missing for me were the sweet plantains that you can get at most Cuban restaurants. We will be back for sure!
Went today because I was driving from Orlando and passing through and let me tell you is great! The owner is cool and real Cuban, the Cuban sandwich was amazing! I'll come back just for the food again!
