Pho Yummy is my favorite pho place anywhere. I try pho in just about every city I visit and I’m happy to report that the best place for rare beef Pho soup is in my backyard. The owner is very nice and great service. Their pho soup is so fresh, he uses ya lift ingredients every time. I get takeout often and it is packaged very well to take home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent Vietnamese / Pho!!

My husband and I came for dinner. The waiter and chef are pleasant. The food is delicious. I ordered pho tai (ribeye) and the broth is one of the best I ever tasted. The flavor is amazing. My husband ordered the yummy rice with egg noddles and chicken. He said it is very good. We also ordered the vegetable spring rolls which are tasty. We will definitely return. This is my new favorite pho place.
They also brought us cake on the house. This place is awesome!
I wanted pho, and chose this place because folks seemed to like it and it has the highest of the ones in the area.
The food was just ok, it didn't remind me of my favorite place in San Jose, and I don't like their brand of Sriracha.
My wife thought her beef stew didn't smell good and didn't like the taste
Service was even worse. We were the only ones there at first, and the waiter could barely give us the time of day.
We sat ourselves, had to get his attention to order, had to ask for water, and still didn't give us water until after the food arrived. And then ignored us until the very end when we were about to pay that he finally offered a refill on water
Overall disappointed and won't go back. Would not recommend to anyone looking for pho.
Response to owner: no one bothered to ask my wife about her food or even offer something else. It is yet another example of general disinterest in the customer's experience and poor service. That is not the standard I expect from a restaurant with a nearly 5 star review average. It is noteworthy her distaste for the stew the only portion of my review which received a response.

Final edit: My review is honest. It is disappointing to see the owner is a bit racist. My wife is not a native English speaker and didn't at first understand. And we were not together in California, we have never eaten pho together. This was an opportunity that passed you by. I was slightly surprised as well because the choice of bread or noodles was a bit, odd. I would have expected choice of noodles with bread included, or optional.
It will not serve you well to call negative reviewers liers. I have noticed a pattern. Had we been asked about drinks or given water when we sat down, had you inquired about the food, had you shown any interest at all in us, your customers, this review would not exist. It's not uncommon for us to tell a restaurant we don't like something, then to turn down a free replacement. We do however, appreciate attentiveness. We do respect effort. It is further disappointing to see we got more attention from you posting to Google than being actual customers.

It's rare that I knocked out an entire bowl of Pho AND springs rolls in one sitting but this bowl of Pho was pretty darn YUMMY! ;) While I do agree with the other reviewer that the spice anise is particularly strong in the base of the stock, I actually thought it made it quite pleasing with the Thai basil..they play off of each other harmoniously. I very much so hope they succeed as two Pho places to choose from makes living here special (plus they have Banh mi which *the other* Pho place does not!)
