Best subs in town. Hot, fresh, and generously portioned. Menu has something for everybody. This has been our go-to lunch spot for years. Please give them a try

I miss the old days of Mike, but I know the business model. I appreciate the quality you’ve continued to uphold!

The sandwiches here were so good that it made me rethink committing suicide. It’s now become my happy place.

I used to love this place about 10 years ago, it is not the same, food doesnt seem to be as good and the prices went way up!! I get that the economy is shit and inflation played a role but $16 for a mediocre sub seems really excessive when you can get a boars head pub sub under 10 bucks, not only was it outrageously exspensive, they also now charge to use a card and expect you to tip on top of that, I learned its under new ownership and the new owner can get bent, I will never go back

I’ve heard so much about this place that I finally had to try it. I ordered the J Simms on a roll - breaded chicken with buffalo sauce and ranch and bacon. Flavors were good overall but there was way too much bread ratio to food. Not enough food packed into the sandwich where the bread was overpowering. Also the chicken cutlet seemed like it was bought at a store and cooked in the fryer…not breaded and home cooked at the deli itself.
Granted, I am a little jaded on a good sandwich place / deli as I am from NY and to me the bar is Se-Port deli in East Setauket Long Island. This was nowhere close to that.

Service gone downhill since the new owners bought this place A couple years ago. Management seems very clicky My wife and I never feel welcome. We’ve been here at least 50 times and they don’t even remember our name. Sometimes they don’t take new orders 30 minutes before they close, today their doors were locked and lights were out 15 minutes before closing time. Very inconvenient to come all this way and find that they’ve closed early without explanation. When you ask them about it they treat you indifferent, like they’re doing me a favor. I’ve been coming into this shop for almost 20 years and today is my very last visit!

Called in at 1:40 for a sandwich, and the woman at the phone immediately hit me with whatever attitude she built up through the morning saying they can't to hot sandwiches because 'their grill closes at a quarter till'. I told her its 1:40 and she said 'that doesn't matter it's not what my clock says'. I told her to check her phone then, it's not our fault they have their clock 5 minutes fast. Must be to get out early.
This place has been on a decline for years. It's a shame Mike can open a restaurant, build crazy success, and sell it to people that ruin his work. Prices go up, quality goes down, and it's no longer a personable spot. If you like it here, and have the time, go to Jupiter and get that handshake.
