I am posting under my husband's account because it is popping up on my phone for some reason and my account isnt. I went to Smallcakes in Stuart FL today and grabbed 7 cupcakes for my husband's birthday. I wanted him to have his choice of what cake he had tonight.My daughter, who is quite the little baker herself came home from work and I offered her a Red Velvet cupcake because I had purchased two of those.Now these cupcakes look beautiful but they did not taste good.The cake portion was dry almost crumbly...she cut me off a little piece of hers and we both took a bite at the same time and immediately looked at each other like Oh my Goodness..it is not good.. how disappointing.I ordered cupcakes from Sam's Club for my son's Bday a month ago and they were delicious, moist and just perfect for around .50 each. I paid almost $35 for 7 at Smallcakes only to be disappointed. Hopefully it was because it was Friday afternoon perhaps they were just trying to get rid of the cakes from the week.UPDATE: We just had the carrot cake and it was delicious and moist. I came to change my review from a 1 to a 3 star and then my husband chose the German Chocolate and it was awful and so dry so back to a one star.

We ordered a box of cupcakes for a family gathering. The cupcakes were moist and not crumbly. The frosting was sweet, but not overly sweet. They drew raves from everyone. The people who served us were terrific. Highly recommend this bakery!

My Ohio daughter ordered me a flan birthday “cake” for my Christmas Eve birthday. Having grown up in Miami, Florida, flan has always been a favorite of mine. At first I thought it was a pumpkin pie as the colors are similar and I love that too! But when I found out it was flan I was delighted!! The true test came when I got it home and tasted it. And it was made to perfection!! Thick and creamy and absolutely as good as it could possibly be. It was decorated beautifully too. Wonderful staff and owner. Thank you so much for making my birthday special!

Horrible customer service!!! Will never be back. Had an App coupon from Save Around. They refused to honor it. Said they only took printed coupons. Then told me it was probably for Port St. Lucie location. When I showed them the coupon with their address, just told sorry.

First time trying Smallcakes - looks delicious but other than that, it was just not a very good cupcake at all. I selected their Chocolate Cream cupcake described as "chocolate cake filled with our signature buttercream, frosted with our signature fudge, and a swirl of buttercream". The buttercream swirl was dried solid, fudge frosting was super sweet, gummy and had no chocolate flavor whatsoever. As to "...filled with our signature buttercream...", filled would be great misnomer; more like a small portion the size of the tip of one's thumb. The buttercream had no flavor just thick, grainy and sweet. The cake, it was dry, crumbly and simply fell apart into large crumbs with each bite, even attempts to eat it with a fork resulted it falling apart. Like the frosting and buttercream filling, the cake had not chocolate flavor, just SWEET and that was it. Maybe it's this location, but I'm surprised it is able to stay open.

Stopped by to pick up a Pecan Pie I had ordered. Everyone was nice and friendly. Met the manager/owner? She was very polite and accommodating. The place was bright, clean and cheery! And now for the important part: the pie! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Pecan pie is now my favorite pie...EVER! Thank you Smallcakes of Stuart for a wonderful experience!

Created for my 50th Wedding Anniversary, our venue was ocean themed. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Our guests all loved it.
Picked up a custom cake for my grandmothers 94th and asked several times for it to say” happy 94th birthday nana” via email and phone only to be picked up and the cake didn’t say that but had random added hearts? Pretty frustrated and annoyed.

When you want to treat yourself, this is the place. After a doctor's appointment in Stuart, and a good report card, I decided to indulge. Got myself and the hubs a cupcake. Lemon cream for me and a chocolate cream filled for him. Both were amazing!

Perfect treat to satisfy a craving. They have approximately 10 flavors of cupcakes and a few other sweet treats. Expect to pay $4-5 per cupcake.

Beautiful LOOKING cupcakes but that’s where the positives ended for us. Vanilla cake pop was sickeningly sweet. Brownie cake pop was bone dry and fell apart when eating. The Boston creme cupcakes were advertised as having cream filling but whatever cream was there when they were made was soaked up by the super dry dense cake. There was no discernible cream by the time we ate these stale cupcakes and the chocolate frosting on top was so thick and gummy that it did not resemble frosting at all. No air in it, just super sweet and dense. To top it all off, the young woman working there had a very off-putting attitude the entire time… as if customers were an interruption to whatever she’d rather be doing. Not a single smile or hint of gratitude. We will not be back. Products were subpar and customer service poor. I can make a better cupcake in a mug in the microwave.
