Places their politics over their paying customers. Won’t be returning.

Tried to discuss this with owner, left several messages but never received return call so here it goes publicly. Went in later Sunday for dinner and was greatly disappointed. Son ordered pork chop and when he took a bite it was rare and when waiter returned to chef to explain, the chef laughed. Wasn’t very funny to us! Wife’s burger was also under cooked. My son went to the bathroom and chef came out of the stall and didn’t wash his hands and went back behind the counter.

We won’t be going back!

I came here for brunch and ordered a breakfast chimichanga with sausage. My chimichanga came out but was missing the sausage my waitress took it back on THE OWNER of South Fork through 3 links of sausage on the side and sent it back out! The sausage was supposed to be inside the chimichanga not on the side. I told my waitress that I don’t need a half ass meal! She came back and said the owner doesn’t care how I feel!!

Food was decent. Forgot an entree and did not make good of it. Rest of the table was finished with their food before last entree arrived. Management never took off bill. .Customer service has much to be desired. Wish Mondo's was still around.

I have been going to this restaurant for years all the way back to their original restaurant. Tonight my husband and I were out with another couple and we witnessed one of the chefs licking his fingers while making our dessert ( obviously we declined the dessert) when I called the owner of the restaurant when I got home he could care less and was very dismissive and nonchalant. I’ve had so many conversations with this owner in person for all of these years. I am so disappointed in his response to the situation. He was rude and could care less. This is absolutely disgusting and appalling of a reaction from an owner of the restaurant…

South Fork has a wonderful happy hour drink special of $5 margaritas. They’re small but potent and delicious with varieties of flavors. The bartenders are very attentive and nice. The only problem is, the happy hour menu is lacking. They have very few choices. We would be more inclined to eat During happy hour if there were more choices . Their burgers look good, but they’re quite small on the regular menu compared to other restaurants and not the price point.

Mixed feelings about this place. Our dinner was an odd combination of delicious food and really bland dishes.

Bread board was spectacular- freshly made bread with maple bacon, pimento cheese and honey butter. Simple and delicious.

We were offered free appetizers with our entrees. I chose the roasted cauliflower and my husband got garlic shrimp. Very disappointing. The cauliflower was served with a tahini sauce and golden raisins, which would have been better with a bit of salt and a more even distribution of the ingredients. It was very bland

The garlic shrimp was served on a tasteless, soggy piece of bread. Couldn't taste any garlic in either the shrimp or the bread.

However, the prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly. The side of soy roasted Brussels sprouts was also very delicious. Both were tender and flavorful.

The final disappointment of the night was the s'mores dessert. The cake was overcooked and tasteless. The ice cream was pretty good but the "burnt" marshmallows and Graham cracker crumble were also very bland. How do you make toasted marshmallows bland???

Finally, dinner took 2 full hours. It was a very long wait between courses.

It was very puzzling that some dishes were executed flawlessly and some were just not good at all. Not sure if I would go back.

This place revived the old “Mero Mero” spot which was lifeless, and left locals confused. When I drove by and saw it was replaced by South Fork we gave it a shot. I was absolutely delighted to find a beautiful atmosphere, and most excited to see excellent service doubled with a fantastic menu. They’ve clearly won the locals over and this place is steadily busy but never has compromised service. We’ve been back 5-6 times in the past year. Great date spot and a fun lively Friday night drinks spot.

We were there last Wednesday. Our waitress was barely present and when she showed up didn’t tell my Dad he got a free appetizer with his meal. We missed getting Happy Hour because she never came back. We saw her laughing in a corrider with someone…. The shrimp were delish! I wish I could have ordered more and another drink….

We love heading over late Sunday afternoon. Taylor at the bar makes our favorite cocktails- blood orange mile and lavender lemon drop martini.

The seafood ( shrimp and crispy tuna) is fresh and delicious.

I had the special - an apple cider pork chop cooked perfectly with broccolini. The chef/owner is on premise and checking on his patrons. A great experience and we look forward to the great service and food.
