Stringers Tavern & Oyster Bar

We came on a Tuesday night right before closing, so it was quiet thankfully. The inside is well decorated and clean, the service was excellent (we sat at the bar) and there were numerous options for beers and drinks as well as food. While we wanted to try everything, we opted for the tuna poke salad and the build your own burger. Both were delicious, fresh, and well made. If you’re looking for fine dining, don’t come here. But the food was good and the atmosphere is very neighborhood friendly. Lots of live music to choose from a lot of nights too.

When my family and I go down to South Florida we are always looking for nice little places to eat. We stumbled upon this gem. The food was great, the service was excellent and we really enjoyed the hermit crab races! Definitely worth spending the evening there.

Our server and the management were incredibly kind to me after a horrible season of loss. I don’t think they know what it meant to me. Our food was great and the drinks were good. The management truly cares about the community and I’m so glad they are here!

This place is mismanaged. I sat at the bar on a completely empty friday night. The only person who was busy was the bartender and she was too busy to drop my check after twenty minutes of waiting. There were three tables in this place, and the bartender had two of them and a few people at the bar. This was all while the manager sat and talked to people at the bar, unable to help. I sat looking for anyone to help. No one. This place will be closed in a few months. I cannot believe an empty restaurant ON A FRIDAY NIGHT is being ran like this. The reviews are from the previous place and should be taken lightly. Do not go here. Go anywhere else, even for a drink. I cannot believe the dolphin bar corporation allows this to continue. Shut it down or do better. I work in the restaurant business, and I would never work in a place that is ran like this. This business is clearly failing, which is judged by the amount of people who were in there on a Friday night. And instead of the manager figuring out what to do better, he sits and speaks to people at the bar for at least twenty minutes. Wow.

I don't get all the great reviews. Went to eat there last Thursday (first time) night...We ordered fish and chips, brisket s/w and a junior fried fish. The fish and chips were the worst he ever had. My brisket s/w came out looking like it could feed a family of 5!!! So unappetizing!! I pulled off the top od the bread and the brisket was in chunks, not sliced. The meat was burned!! Not blackened, I know the difference. I had to pick ip the meat and eat around the burnt areas! It was all bread and little meat! I left the whole thing!! Then I get home and the next day I had stomach issues!! Sorry won't be back!

Food was good, waitress was nice and friendly. Food took entirely too long, with only 3 other booths in the whole restaurant with people eating, I waited over 45 minutes for my meal. Not sure what the hold up was as the place was practically dead

Beware of the shady business practice and false advertising from this establishment. They claim free kids meal, but don't stipulate that an adult entree purchase is required. I attached a screenshot from their website , and a picture from outside of this place. Nowhere does it claim this. I regret not checking my receipt upon leaving this place the other night. I was part of a party of 9 so it's not like it was only 2 adults and 2 children.

Edit!!. 8-10-25. Still have not received the refund they promised after I left my review. Guess they were hoping I would delete this after they promised it.

We had a great time at The Catch. We sat in the kids area with our 3 young ones and they had a blast! Our waitress was wonderful & the food was amazing (best salmon I've had).

Great experience , the refreshers ( drinks with no alcohol ) are fantastic. Good ambiance, not loud music or crazy loud. Perfect for bringing some friends and enjoy. The food was great, I had fish and it was delicious .I would come back for sure

Tuna poke stack amazing! Fresh, plentiful, delicious. Pro tip: have it with a pint of “Fresh” IPA.
