Previously there were two young girls that were very kind and respectful. I've been here a few times recently and noticed a change of staff. The staff went from being very kind and welcoming to be being very rude and disrespectful. They spoke in a very condescending tone and we were not greeted with kindness. Lack of customer service.

Cappuccino chocolate muffin was terrible this morning. Too sweet and not baked enough. Ordered two cappuccino's that were below average. Doesn't with any prior visits.

I ordered ahead on the phone the lady who answered told me when I get there let a barista know I’m here and I made an order on the phone and already paid for it when I got there and told the older man he got snappy and rude with me. Not the first or second time either, so if he can’t handle the easy job he has maybe it’s time to retire and stop being rude to paying customers

Met some friends here the other day. I've walked past it many times, but this was the first time I had coffee here. I had the "cubano," espresso with brown sugar. Excellent! The decor and atmosphere are very pleasant and artistic, with original works of art on the walls. Great place for coffee and conversation. I'll be back.

The service was not good. The people behind the counter were not friendly or helpful. We ordered omelette sandwiches and they were ok but wouldn't return there given the lack of good energy

If you want to be disrespected and sworn at, this is the place to go. If I could give it a minus 10 I would. They have no idea what they're doing and this place is extremely mismanaged. I went in there for a cuppa coffee. The girl took my order and money and walked over to the garbage to empty the garbage. There were 2 customers behind me. The girl behind the counter asked me if I was being helped, I said yes, but she went to empty the garbage. Mind you, there were two people behind me. The girl behind the counter comes up to me and goes She took your order. What's your issue? I said I don't have an issue. Why are you so rude she said fuck you I'm not in the mood today. I asked her if she was on her meds and great customer service. I told her I wanted my money back she made a face and I made one back and she said you're a real mature. Then she took my four singles and my change and threw it at me. This place I would not recommend any one.

I wanted to try a new local coffee shop and ventures to Stuart coffee shop. The lines was out the door. I waited 50 minutes from the time I joined the lines until I received my coffee and sandwich. There is one person at each station. Totally chaotic. When I finally sat down to eat my sandwich there were pieces of long brown hair melted into my mozzarella caprese sandwich. Totally disgusting. I went back up to counter waited an additional ten minutes to have the very rude woman at the coffee station tell me "what's the problem". I said there is hair all over my sandwich. She said nothing other than " a new one is coming". I said no because I was disgusted. She then said "what you want a refund". I said obviously. She told the person at the register to step aside "because a customer at changed her mind". What!!!! Horrible customer service. Unsanitary conditions. I don't re immense this to anyone. I was told by this woman "we are the only coffee shop open today" like that was an excuse to have hair in my sandwich. Totally worst experience. No way to start off my first meal of 2024. Buyer beware!!!!

I had such a great experience here. My iced oat milk Pumpkin Spice Latte was delicious. I sat inside to get some work done but when you go back, I will definitely take advantage of the outdoor sitting areas.

Very warm and charming environment. I forgot to get the name of the girl who was helping me but she was great. Made a recommendation for a sandwich and I also ordered a matcha latte.There was only her and the person working the back and they still were able to prepare my food quickly and have me on my way. Would have stayed as the seating area had plenty of options but had to get to work.Thank you for the great food.

If I could be friends with a cafe, this would be it.Calusa has a great chill home-y vibe with kind owners cultivating relationships with regular customers. This place is great for the serious coffee aficionado.The atmosphere reminds me of the Broward I grew up with when there were still more trees, less apartments and more cows around.There is plenty of shaded outdoor seating and cozy indoor seating. If indoors, you get to see where they roast their coffee.The food and coffee menu isn't extensive: it's a no-frills place that's serious about the coffee quality instead of making unicorn double-stuffed popping pearl lattes. And the food menu is small but everything I've tried has been excellent. I've had their cheese danish, banana bread, vegan empanadas, quiche and croissants. I've bought beans from them quite often too.The quality and the down-to-earth service keeps me and a lot of other people returning often. I truly love this place and every chance I get, I bring friends, family and my dog to hang out under the trees.
