Seems like scones should be crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside?

Not sure what all the hype is about. I visited twice. First time ordered croissants - not fresh. Today brought home a stale baguette and not greeted very friendly. Bomboloni in Jensen is much better.

Suuuuuuper disappointed with my experience today at Sucre. I’ve been here so many times as well as bought muffins downtown from Katherine at the green market in west Palm.
She is fantastic, very personable, kind, a wonderful baker. The food is typically great, that’s what keeps us coming back!
But I went in today and was informed they don’t do their 4 for $12 muffins any more, okay not a big deal although spending $16 on muffins is a bit ridiculous.
What irked me most was the woman behind the counter…talk about RUDE. Super nasty, not friendly, and seemed annoyed to even be there. I’m not asking for someone to be overjoyed but at least look alive.
Other disappointing factor was the muffins are substantially smaller now as well, and surprisingly didn’t have much taste to them. Ugh, one of my favorites and was craving it for weeks…what a let down.

Easily the most awful service experience I have ever had in my life! Nasty troll behind the counter, I will never ever go back. Refused to let me get a word in when trying to order for my 3 kids and their teachers. Then, when my son “touched” one of the items on display I offered to pay and she argued back and forth with me. I took my money to Jupiter donuts and will tell everyone how awful Sucre is and will tell everyone I know to never go here!

Second visit to this awesome bakery! We’ve had several of their sweet croissants, two flavors of Danishes and their chocolate eclairs! PERFECTION.

My father and I discovered this place today after YEARS of living in stuart. Never seen an old man move so fast to get sweet treats and i personally have never said “oh my god” after eating my signature ham and cheese croissant. For the first time in my life I felt joy eating what I love, but this time around I’ve learned this is how it supposed to be eaten. Their way. We will be back and we will nag you again for that bogo!

The pastries are very good. The store itself is tiny. A maximum of 3-4 customers at a time can fit inside.
